I’m still doing catch-up work! Because I only “found” this channel in the last weekend, so my apologies to The Boss himself, for piggybacking & “cleaning-up crime scenes” after the crowds. 😢😔😞😔🍁🍂 I do believe Charlie Lucky pronounced his name “Lou-khan-ya/Lou-cane-ya,” & Joe da Boss was legally “Mah-SEH-ria.” An Italian-concept language speaker would know more accurately, though-especially, one from those older communities in the regions where they settled-in in the US-concept. I totally enjoyed the Luciano animé mug shot!! I never saw the “resemblance” to Sinatra until you made that smile. Eerily uncanny!! 😊😉😎 I never heard a more historically-likely version as to how Charlie Lucky made his bones! Anywhere!! Almost all other versions date it to the Maranzano hit, & no earlier. I do find it remarkable that he, Albert A., & Ben Siegel enjoyed such “lucky streaks” when it came to murder. Those bosses they were rubbing out must’ve owned all the courts in the boroughs. OR, they cleverly used disguises & couldn’t be identified. Ever. I never pieced-together until “Once Upon a Time in America,” how the whole impoverished ghettos knew immediately when young hoods ‘became connected,’ as soon as they got new suits! Or maybe it was “Dillinger” with Warren Oates: “Decent people don’t dress like that.” 😊😂😂😂🤭🫢🤗 Thanx for this deep dive into old Castella Del Mar!! Always a jumble of people, places, names to me! How DO you find these photos of Morello, Lupo, Umberto, etc., & all of those not in wide use in the OrgCrime “textbooks???” It’s a miracle how you’ve put them all together with the narration & I appreciate your Efforts to tell the stories NYC should know!! The one is Capo dei Capi (in fact in name only, already from the mid of the decade), Don Salvatore "Toto" D'Aquila, based in Brooklyn. The other is, Don Giuseppe "Joe the Boss" Masseria, who's heading the biggest Borgata in the city and buldind a big network of allies-lieutenants across the country. In 1927, D'Aquila's lieutenant in Cleveland, Joe Lonardo, is gunned down by Salvatore Todaro, Masseria's lieutenant. Now, Cleveland belongs to Joe the Boss. The Dons are continiuing their "backround moves". Until 1928, one of the years, which will mark the Honorata Societa forever, D'Aquila manages to bribe Masseria's long-time Brooyklyn caporegime, Frankie Yale, to side with him and betray his Godfather. Also D'Aquila makes a strong alliance with Chicago's Godfather (and Al Capone's advisor & partner) Antonio Lombardo. Lombardo tries to persuade Capone, to stop paying tribute to Masseria (Capone wasn't made Masseria's capodecina yet). However Al, doesn't agree. He knows, that he can't side against Joe the Boss. Also, he has huge respect for the Boss, not only due to his Power, but because, back in the early 20s, before Al came to Chicago, it was Masseria who had saved him from death, solving the dispute between him and another gangster (the "scarface" thing). So, the loyal Al, tippes-off his Boss about Lombardo and D'Aquila. Meanwile, Masseria is preparing the death of the traitor Yale. He already knows about it, because he has D'Aquila's own underboss, Al Mineo with him (it wasn't difficult, because D'Aquila had been unfair with him) and Yale's second in command, Anthony Carfano. The time comes. The guns are ready. July 1st. Capone's hit-men, paying a "touchy" visit to Yale. September 7th. Lombardo is ambushed alongside with one of his two bodyguards, Tony Ferreta. The other bodyguard, unscratched, hunts down the killers, shooting at them, but not managed to hit them. His name is Joe Lolordo. His bother, Pasqualino Lolordo, with Capone's help, succeds the deceased Lombardo as the new head of the Chicago Family. And guess what??? He was under Joe the Boss. He even attended at Masseria's Coronation as the Capo dei Capi, at the Hotel Statler in Cleveland. Probably a coincidence... October 10th. Salvatore D'Aquila himself, is gunned down, out of his doctor's office, by a squad of his undeboss, Al Mineo, on the orders of Joe "the Boss" Masseria. It's quite possibly, that Giuseppe Morello was one of the gunmen, because D'Aquila was his biggest enemy. The war is over. The victor, the Great Capo dei Capi, Don Giuseppe "Joe the Boss" Masseria, is now officially, the King of New York. And with the death of the jewish kinpin Arnold Rothstein, on November 6th (he was shot on 4th, on the Boss's orders-Dutch Scultz took the contract), Joe the Boss is the undisputed Dominance in the whole US Underworld!!!

The biggest problem with the current line on the Castellamarese War and the parties involved in it is that it's mostly based on the say-so of one man, Joseph Bonanno, in his autobiography 'A Man of Honour'. A lot of the available evidence (and there is a lot) gets ignored and overlooked if it contradicts the whole story that Bonanno laid out in that book. Of course he's going to do his best to make 'his side' look good, and 'the other side' (Masseria and Maranzano) look bad. Since when has there ever been a mafioso who told the truth, or at least told the whole story? Don't get me wrong, compare, the videos are great - I watch every one. Just that some of the source material you're using (indirectly or otherwise) isn't always the most reliable.

great blender work. blender still has ma awkward interface but much better than what it was. 3D is great but hard to learn. p-lus you need a fast computer to render with. great addition to a fine channel. good luck with the 3d stuff. up your modeling skills model your own characters. you need to clean up and chamfer your edges on some models. things are too rounded. missed your channel.
