Reigen however tells him despite being unable to get a clue what mob did here wasn’t bad but actually a good thing, which reassures Mob. (Short version)

Concidering that Dimple survived this fight, he might actually be one of the strongest spirits we've encourtered in the series. The only other spirit that survived tangling with mob was a ultrapowerful former esper, with the power to create entire dimensions.

Mob-kun went sucha long way during these past years. watching these old episodes as he speaks lines such as "These are my true emotions, they came upon your request." and "Iam terrible." Gives me chills how strongly he portraits the idea of repression. While in contrary despite him keeping his venting manners in later seasons he seems to have integrated his moods and build understanding for them. What an incredible character growth. Lucky are us who shared this journey with mob psycho series

As someone with autism, I relate pretty heavily to Mob's dilemma. To this misconception that I'm indifferent and incapable of emotions just because I'm not good at outwardly expressing or articulating them. But when I do let them out, whether they're good or bad, it feels overwhelming for myself and others. A friend recommended Mob Psycho 100 to me because Mob had been described as "autism-coded," so that's what drew me in. Even if it wasn't intentional, I think he's probably the best representation of someone with autism in anime. And one of the few good representations in popular fiction in general.

My favourite thing in Mob Psycho, Mob's genuine attempts at growing and changing, learning slowly to express his emotions better, that his powers do not define who he is, it's not even about him achieving his goals per se, but more so that he makes a constant effort to better himself little by little despite his social awkwardness and lacking communication skills, his friend group was basically just Reigen if you could even say that, and now look at where he is by end of S2. I love this show so much
