@Yvonne Bowe What does that have to do with my comment? Here in the US we do not get the level of reporting from inside Russia that was presented in this video. We mostly get just what the major media want us to see. As for conscription in the US, every male over age 18 is required by Federal law to be registered for Selective Service (the 'Draft'), and during a major war, Congress could easily re-start conscription. But that has little to do with what I said in my comment.

I am a Norwegian and 58 years old, so i am not exactly the best soldier for Russia to use. But if there was a easy way for me to move to Russia and do work in some of their factories that suffer from lack of manpower because of the mobilization and i could be sure to have a place to stay when i was there, i would do so. As i see it Russia and China is the only sensible great powers that is left now, the true axis of evil(USA, England and France) have gone completely insane in so many ways now. EU actually just proposed a new law where it shall be forbidden to not hate Russia (or to be pro Russian as they put it...) But i will be pro Russia even if they send me to prison for it. I hope the best for every single Russian that now fight against the American attack in Ukraine. Most of us know about the history of The Cuba Crisis and how the US reacted to that. Since that US have created their own version of The Cuba Crisis again and again. The Cuba Crisis 02 with Norway in to NATO.. The Cuba Crisis 03 with Estonia The Cuba Crisis 04 with Latvia The Cuba Crisis 05 with Lithuania The Cuba Crisis 06 with Finland The Cuba Crisis 07 with Sweden The Cuba Crisis 08 with Ukraine and so on. You won't get unbiased returning soldier interviews as they are too afraid to speak the truth and frankly quite a number have committed crimes. For something closer to the truth I'd recommend Ukrainian journalist Volodymyr Zolkin (on KZbin) he tracks down dead soldiers and interviews POWs (not an interrogation), they are free to say whatever they want, he records the session, they get a phone call home and with their permission uploads the vid to a public Telegram site so family and friends can see how they are doing. This also proves that they are a POW as often the military drags their feet as POWs families receive a benefit but not if you are deemed MIA. This is also sadly why they are extremely slow to pick up their dead too 😕

My second cousin lived in the village. In 99% of cases, men are ready to go to war, although it is very scary. Some who enlisted with my brother are already, unfortunately, dead. Maybe they would want to join some anti.government movement but Putin has been very effective in keeping such gatherings to a minimum. I was in the military and would do it all over again. Loved every minute i was in the Army. I was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and several other places. But this is the problem with war, If i met any of these men or woman on the street in the USA or over in Russia i would probably be friends with them and have a great time and get along great. But unfortunately when leaders cant get along or you get a power hungry leader and then the men and woman that i would probably be friends with are all of a sudden my enemy. It's not rite, what they need to do is take the two leaders that don't get along, put them in a room and who ever walks out is the winner. Lets see how many wars we have then. Probably none, because the men and woman who live in that country fighting are the ones who suffer and die because people just cant get along.

Well I know Americans that have PTSD as well we're not Superior you know. A lot of our soldiers naively marched into Vietnam, Afghanistan you name it and it was a disaster for us. Stop believing East and West government propaganda and focus on the real enemy which is the government. Do not allow the government to tell you who the enemy is. The real enemy is in the capitals of our countries

I was also on the agenda at the military enlistment office in Moscow at the beginning of mobilization, I initially wrote in my military ticket that I was not fit in peacetime, since we officially did not have a war, I was sent home. Everything is true about the video, the attitude towards me was excellent, there were many people in the military enlistment office who went voluntarily. One guy asked to go home for 3 days to get married and he was released. If suddenly they call me, then I will go without thinking to defend my homeland, my family and relatives.

@6:02 if you'd asked me how I felt if I'd been drafted at 23, I'd have probably always said, "I'm a bit torn or have mixed feelings, on one hand you're about to enter a war zone, feeling #1 fear (of being killed or seriously wounded, apparently bullets and shrapnel hurt when they enter the body) feeling #2 pride of serving the nation (in most cases war invokes a degree of patriotism in many men, young and old)
