FYI, if you want to skip the whole EMUflight install, you can upgrade to Betaflight 4.1.1 instead and use the JESC 48khz firmware however, the flight time is not as long as on EMUflight according to Patrick J. Clark (Project Mockingbird). He says he has tested both scenarios. Also, Betaflight 4.1 will be needed. If you got the first batch with 4.0.6, you'll need to upgrade to 4.1. You can get my BF 4.1.1 PIDs here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/moKYq5aMr92Ca6c

It is a great time to be flying FPV micro brushless quads!! With this 48khz thing boosting flight times, plus the RPM filter has been the best improvement to betaflight yet!! For my micro's it has been anyways.. The quads I used to get 3 minutes on I am getting 4.5-5 minutes easy... Each one of those improvements is so huge.. They are once in a long time improvements, and they happened almost back to back... I love it...

Thanks Albert, just finished the emuflight setup and JESC, getting 4:30 from fresh batteries, fantastic. The only hiccups I hit were to make sure you flash the most up to date Emuflight software INCLUDING unstable releases (I know you said it but I didn't listen!) and after the update it would only bind in D16 mode, it was previously in D8. Thanks again, 3min flight time isn't quite enough :)

btw, you can get longer flight times even using BF 4.1 on the Mob6, but in my testing, you get 15-30 seconds longer in emu with my tunes :) I also have BF configs for the TinyHawk S and Mob7 for this in the Project Mockingbird Facebook group. Emuflight is rad, but if you don't like it you can get great improvements in flight time in BF as well with JESC 48khz :)

@AlbertKimTV4 жыл бұрын
It sounds like a motor direction problem but I don't see why JESC would change that when you flash firmware. From what I remember it should not do that. The other possibility is that you've somehow flashed the wrong firmware target so it's mismatched.

It depends on the voltage sag. Sometimes it can go below 3v near the end of a flight but then recover back to 3.5v after landing. You want it to recover to 3.5v or above. If it recovers below that, it's not good for the battery.
