Gross, cringy, clickbait - I love Moby & I like his book, but this story is one of the cringy-est things I've ever read (or heard, via the audiobook). It's the kind of story that will only serve to add gasoline to the current political divide, because of the atrocious amoral double standard it, apparently unwittingly, draws attention to. The book also has stories of him waking alone after a threesome in a fancy hotel with human feces on him (not knowing whose it was), him throwing a knife at a famous writer on Christmas, high on coke & meth... smoking pcp laced meth on ecstasy, drunk, ghb & the kitchen sink, etc. before asking David Lynch to teach him to meditate at a fundraiser for TM central in Ohio... many more wild, insane, sad, & exciting stories that can be focused on than this one...
