Hi, Theresa! Thanks for watching! They are SO GOOD. I've already eaten all of the ones I made. They're a nice transition back into post-holiday food. Even the plain ones are completely delicious. Praise God through Christ Jesus for the amazing bounty of healthy foods He shares with us!!! ❤

Happy New Year, Buji! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! Praise God through Christ Jesus for great ways like this to share with one another! Hey, I'm a knitter, too!!! This year it seems I've been reknitting fingertips of gloves I made a few years ago.... What do you like to knit the most?
@bujiknits3 жыл бұрын
@@LivingLambsVeganKitchen wow, never knit gloves, just mittens. lots of socks, hats & shawls. this year I'm attempting sweaters for the 1st time in many years!

@@bujiknits Oh, enjoy! I'm getting ready to start a sweater, too! I haven't done a sweater for several years, myself. I'm just starting to chart this one from Sundance, but in different colors, for my husband: www.sundancecatalog.com/product/shayan+cardigan.do They have another one that I want to crochet for myself. I've done lots of socks, but less hats, and only one shawl. I loved doing the shawl, though, and probably should do another sometime!!!! Enjoy!!!!!

@@LivingLambsVeganKitchen that sweater is stunning. that's amazing being able to do that colorwork. I couldn't manage it. just small bits here & there for me! hope there is some way to see the finished sweater 1 day. that would be lovely!

@@bujiknits Hi, Buji! It's actually super easy. You knit totally normally, just alternating colors (carrying the yarn strands at the back). You should totally try it on a swatch or something!

I am so afraid I would eat too many if I made them (lol)! Wouldn't it be more practical to "crumble" the walnuts first, then add the dates and cocoa powder afterwards? Thank you so much for the inspiration! Happy, healthy New-Year!
@LivingLambsVeganKitchen3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Nadege! Happy New Year! Yes, eating too many is a definite possibility. Storing them in the freezer not only make them better, but also has that sort of "out of sight-out of mind" benefit and helps with that a bit. But if you eat too many, at least it's real food, and you can skip lunch! I think your suggestion of pre-crumbling the walnuts is a good one and worth implementing! Happy, healthy new year to you, too, and Priase the Lord!

Ooooh. They look so good. I'm off all caffeine including chocolate, but very enticing. Thanks for showing us your great present from your brother. How thoughtful. Are your whole family vegan?

Hi, SF! They are amazing, and we've scarfed them all up. Mostly me..... No, none of my family is fully vegan, but some are more plant-based than others, and they're all pretty awesome, each in their own way!!! You're awfully sweet to watch, even being off chocolate! ❤

Paganism was always around. Still is. We need to sanctify any days we can!! Praise God for sending us His Son on whatever day it actually occurred!!! Thanks for the kind words on the channel, and I pray that you will accept the free gift of salvation that is offered to us by God through faith in His Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. ♥

Do you think that blending the walnuts first and then adding the dates would ensure that you had a smoother caramel right off the bat?
@LivingLambsVeganKitchen3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Steve!! Thanks for watching! Someone else made the same comment, and I think it's a great idea and will do that next time I make them. Which likely won't be soon, because they were really good, and I ate them way too fast!!!! Praise God through Christ Jesus for all of the wonderful things we can do with His gracious bounty! ❤❤❤
