@@listenerofnature7899 I'm actually thinking about re-doing in full binaural, for a much more spacious and immersive experience. My original production was monaural, but was still quite effective at evoking the night time magic. I now have enough new binaural field recordings to produce a really incredible audio immersion. But the big question these days is what to do with when it's finished. Kids don't seem to be as interested in nature as they used to be.

I was walking my dog in my neighborhood around 2 A.M. about a month ago and the only sound in the stillness was THIS bird. Of course, I couldn't see it and wondered what type of bird it was. A Google search brought me here. It sits in the same tree, singing it's little heart out... no other birds responds. I make a point of walking past that house just to hear this.... makes me laugh!

I think I caught cardinal, chickadee, robin, titmouse and eagle songs. There were plenty of others I couldn't identify, but quite the repertoire!

Terrific video! I heard a mockinigbird for the first time in my backyard a few weeks ago. I thought he was quite the master, repeating the same phrases up to eight times. This bird's got him beat!
