CFW is impossible as of now, we don't have the private keys to sign the firmware. Unless they get leaked, there's realistically not much we can do in terms of making the jailbreak permanent

So looking at this you don't need a router but this could be done with a TP Link Range Extender that plus into the power point with a ethernet port.

Hey Modded Warfare, it seems it won't work on all OpenWRT compatible Routers. I got an TP Link Archor C6 with OpenWRT, just tried the guide but it is sadly stuck on downloading the zip, since my router is limited to 2 mb of space. Thanks for the effort of doing this tho!

I think it's never. You can't modify PS4 firmware because of code digital signing, trusted bootloader and other protection measures. If it were possible, it would have already been done on 9.0 and previous jailbroken versions. But it's not.

I was trying it out and unfortunately if your router only has 2mb of flash storage, then you're out of luck. It'll max out and won't be able to download the whole zip (let alone unzipping the contents too)
