Modding Tutorial - BF2 Weapons and Vehicles

This is the start of a short modding series that i'm going to do. Today's topic is BF2 - Weapons and Vehicles. In this tutorial, I will show you how to make the US rocket launcher shoot automatic and in 3 round burst, with unlimited ammo. Also, we're going to tweak the US helicopter a little bit to give it more health, and tons of firepower!
Tools used in this mod:
1)Notepad++ notepad-plus-plus.org/
2)7zip www.7-zip.org/
I'd recommend keeping the velocity on the artillery launcher down below 5 for best effect, I didn't do so in the video, but I made a note.

Question, is there a way to enable firing from soldier weapon kits while driving a vehicle? For example, throwing a mine..

hey man can you help me out? i want to mod the sound of a weapon in a mod. So do i have to create a whole new folder and copy the whole mod in there? or can i just "add" the sound mod intothe mod?

wooow..nice video.. hey do u know how to make radar system for attack helicopters.. like in jet when we press f button for JDAM bomb system..we can identify vehicles in radar..same way is there any way to add radar system for attack helicopters... Thanq.. :)

nice tutorial { im a little late by a few years} but i still play bf2 and aix at age 66. i did a few maps added the p51d mustang and the bf109e by clive.will does this work for the bombs to the 109 drops 15 like to drop it down to 4 or 6

can you help me, every time i drag the file to my desktop and after change the property,i well first of all i dont have the "edit"so i try to open it and it says "The archive is ether in unknown format or damaged" i can view the file via notepad but if i mod,save,and try to replace it,it will say access denied and then it is damaged or is corrupted and wont go in please help, thanks in advance

Hey dude great video, but please help me out. I want unlimited vehicles to spawn in my unranked server, so still when a chopper takes off a new one spawns, some russian guy has it too on hes server, but he wont share how he did that, do u have any idea where to change that??? thx

i got patch 1.0 and working perfectly, thx! but i dont do shortcut of that BF2.exe , it's working without that, if i do shortcut my game will crash, so if modding doesnt work, try to just start game normally with normal Battlefield 2 shortcut. thanks for tutorial!

When I try to mod the M4's magazine count, I do "ObjectTemplate.ammo.nrOfMags 30" and save it, replace the tweak file but then when i check the file again, my line is just not there anymore.. why?

Go to EA games, then cut Battlefield 2 into the C drive. Then you can overwrite it.
