Complete how to build HobbyBoss AV-8B Harrier II in 1:18 scale military model airplane. Number 81894. Model build includes assembly, preparation - cutting, sanding and gluing. Painting - primer, Tamiya spray and clear coat. Washes, decals, filters, scratches, stains and streaks with weathering. Weathering includes burnt areas and exhaust markings. Interior instrument panels, seat in cockpit and canopy glass effect. Wheels and landing gear as supplied. Full selection of weapons and fuel tanks.
HobbyBoss: The Av-8B Harrier is a family of second generation vertical/short takeoff and landing or V/STOL ground attack aircraft of the late 20th century. It is primarily used for light attack or multi-role tasks, typically operated from small aircraft carriers and large amphibious assault ships.
The AV-8B is used by the United States Marine Corp. The British Harrier GR7/GR9 versions are used by the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy. Versions are also used by NATO countries, Spain and Italy.
The first AV-8B Harrier IIs produced were commonly known as the Day Attack variant and are no longer in service. Most were upgraded to Night Attack Harrier or Harrier II Plus standards, with the remainder being withdrawn from service.

Hi thanks for your feedback! There was a figure many years ago, but it sold out quickly & was expensive. I looked at the 1:16 SOL Bundeswehr tank commander (sol-mm312) & change heads. EBay had best options, at the time I got the 1:18 red colour figurine resin pilot (from Germany) & painted it the correct colours. There are also similar Luke Sywalker 1:18 figures that can be adapted with putty and paint. The other option is the 1:18 “figure of a jet fighter pilot” - it’s the top half (from UK). It’s a great build. Enjoy!
