Hello everyone, in today's video you will follow me as I tour a luxury decorated model home! Together, we will gather home decor inspiration and decorating ideas that are aesthetically pleasing to help elevate your home in your own unique style. Let's take a look inside this newly built $2.4 million 6,200 square foot single-family dream home!
The model home we're touring is professionally decorated in a Contemporary Modern style and is comprised of home decor accents from HomeGoods, HomeSense, Restoration Hardware, West Elm, CB2, Crate & Barrel, and Pottery Barn amongst others.

Yes, Casey! I love that, like we’re walking it together and just enjoying all of the beautiful selections the designers made 🙌🏼✨ I’m sure at one point everything within the home was pristinely placed, but over time it does become somewhat lived in by visitors - but as you said, it makes it more realistic and doesn’t look so overly staged. Thank you, Mark...anytime! I’ve toured many models but this home was hands-down my absolute favorite to date. As you said, it was very reminiscent of my style and decor aesthetic (on a much more grandiose level) but believe me, when I have nearly $2.4+ million dollars I may shoot for the stars and try to make my space half as beautiful as this one we toured today. Thanks for the detailed luxury model home tour! There were so many exquisite marble details! I kept taking photos of what vessels they used and how they arranged them. I also took pictures of how they mixed warm colors (browns and beige) with cool colors (shades of gray.) Usually, I see homes decorated with either warm colors or cool colors. And I have a beautiful gray alpaca throw that I want to put with my beige/tan pillows. I basically don't know how to mix warm and cool colors and still have them look elegant together.

My home (in photos) appears more black/white/grey than it is in person. I actually have a beige/brown/grey/black/cream color story and I think it definitely breaks up the harshness of all cool or warm tones! Your throw sounds incredible 😍

Beige/brown/grey/black/and cream are the colors that I have in my living room. And yes the throw is incredible. My cousin is a flight attendant and she bought it in Peru! When she gave it to me - I am cried because it was so beautiful and soft.

My O my Beau, What a georgous house. I snapped a few pics since I'm changing colors in my home. I was sitting here one afternoon wonder- ing what my door frames would look like in black, now I can see a clearer vision, just grand! My black sofa arrived on Thursday so I'm on my way. I've DIY'd a large Wood Cabinet & End Tables, all in Black, it's all coming 2gether slowly. The walls are a beige color & found a great jude carpet in bridge & black as well. I love color & change Decor items for each Season, thats me! Thank U, this pushed me to complete my living & dinning room.

I did the triple take when I saw the 3-gold globe floor lamp with white marble stand in the upstairs area. As I recognized it as a Target lamp going for $129.99. But I was lucky enough to have come across mine from my nearby Goodwill for $30. But paid even less than that because I had a 25% off discount for my birthday month. Score❗️☺️ I love a great deal❣️

Prior to Covid we went on a few Modern Home Tours in Houston, several million dollar plus homes. The decor and lighting in those homes are always on point. I like shopping way too much to have a minimalist home. The marble in this home is gorgeous, I dont think I'd ever be brave enough to paint a ceiling black. Lol TFS, Beau!

From the color choice, furniture selection, accents and accessories...this home was a knock out and so beautifully fashioned. I am an avid HomeGoods and HomeSense shopper, but the items I buy there rarely ever compete in terms of quality and price to what I can find secondhand. I do like to aspire at times, and definitely go on adventures to see what’s new and exciting in the luxury market, but like you-I’m not here to break the bank. I find it’s not necessary most days 😁

Great video Love your commentary Black white & brass having a big moment. Inspiring light fixtures truly each art!!! Truly I recently saw the Racheal Zoe feather lamp in home goods. I 💖 I was happy to see good windows & light. Flooring is always a tough call folks have gotten so opinionated on wood, stone & tile. Hi Beau. Your description of this home was right on. I prefer a little more color, but I have a feeling, if given the chance to live in this home, you would hear few complaints from me. A housekeeper with an industrial feather duster would definitely be needed though. Hahaha. I did quite like the modern esthetic of the billiards table. Looking forward to your future videos. Hello, my friend! I do like a pop of color myself (hence all my green plants, etc. in my apartment) to give it warmth...but I didn’t necessarily feel the monochromatic/neutral color scheme here was all that cold either? Which it can be at times. A feather duster and a team of housecleaners would definitely be necessary...by the time you finish cleaning, you’d need to begin again 🤣 so glad you enjoyed this walkthrough!

The sales manager told me through covid that have sold over 2 years worth of projected sales in this site...starting, STARTING, at $2.4. The home shown here was definitely closer to $3 and I was beside myself 😅 I definitely loved the space comprised within the home, but nothing beats a big plot of land!

🤣🤣🤣 that’s what I I’m saying! Realistically the starting price of this home (bare-bones, no upgrades) is $2.4 million. The home as shown here was definitely more like $3.2 million if not more with all the bells and whistles...but you are right, those light fixtures alone cost an arm and a leg 😱

Good morning Beau. How fun it would be to have a friend or two with a million dollar home to hang out in? Where do I get one of those. lol Today I plan to put up my Christmas tree and I'm going to use your last video as my inspiration with the ribbon, sprays, etc. First, I need to buy a device to see which lights are out in my pre-lit Christmas tree. I swore with my last tree that I wouldn't buy another pre-lit tree because of the hassle when the lights go out and I did it again a year or two ago.

It really was quite the home and as you said, there is so much to see 🤩 as shown, I’m sure the home with all its furnishing and upgrades was nearly $3.2M if not more. It is located just outside of Washington DC! But as you said, likely more affordable than SF 🙌🏼

I absolutely would 🤗 the model homes in my immediate area are a little over the top price wise this is for sure, I usually just visit them for inspirational walk throughs like this to see what’s new in terms of designer trends. But would certainly seek out more attainable models in the future, too!

My goal being that each individual watching may see something they weren’t necessarily drawn to on their own or to learn or be inspired by something I happen to spotlight. Having absolutely no real insight into the designers’ minds, I try to immerse myself into their thoughts and perhaps what they were thinking in terms of design when they fashioned these spaces.

It was beautiful, definitely caught my eye, too! Unfortunately no, I didn’t have the opportunity to look for identifying marks. But from what I know, a majority of these models in particular are furnished by Perigold (it’s the higher end version of Wayfair) so that may be the best place to search!
