Hello everyone! In today's video, we'll be thrifting vintage, aesthetic, and luxury (designer) home decor finds from Goodwill and other local thrift stores in my area affordably. So many of you have been enjoying these weekly thrift outings and I am so excited to share the mid-century modern styled vintage thrift finds that I've sourced this week. Come see the home decor accents, accessories, and home goods that I've curated while shopping at some of my favorite vintage thrift locations!
This is an inexpensive and budget-friendly home decor haul! All of the unique and eclectic pieces that I'm sharing in this video are incredibly affordable. Be sure to keep an open mind while thrifting your own finds.
Candlestick holders, marble accents, baskets, and bowls - we're doing it all! Thrifting has become one of my favorite ways to cut costs when decorating my apartment and I've managed to source one-of-a-kind, unique, and affordable decor pieces for a fraction of the price they'd retail at big box stores like Crate & Barrel, CB2, West Elm, or Pottery Barn.

@@louisemincey7676 it’s hard to say what starts a trend or obsession. So for years I collected plates and I started smashing them for mosaics. I still have a stock pile. Textiles have always been a weakness which I’ve passed down to my sewing crazed twins. Nowadays I collect hand blown glass only seconds that are cheaper & imperfect. And I collect hand thrown pottery. I’ve gotten better about limiting due to space. But if ever I have a second home gosh it’s all ready stocked. 💕happy Saturday.

The first piece you found is awesome. That is also known as Royal Haeger. I have a few pieces by this artist and am always on the lookout for more. Great finds! You can always clean the tarnish off of silver. Just use about a half cup of white vinegar and a couple tablespoons of baking soda in warm, not hot water and let it soak for a few hours.

Yes, I love Royal Haeger pottery and ceramics 😍 my Aunt shared with me that she used to visit their store front just outside of Chicago in the late 80’s early 90’s but unfortunately they have closed their doors after more than 140 years. Devastated I never had the opportunity to visit, so I was happy to source a piece in the wild! Thank you for the tip on cleaning silver! I appreciate it my friend 😁

It’s timeless, it’s elegant, and many items that I’ve sourced in glass from second hand shops tend to be inexpensive which is a win in my book 🙌🏼 I hope that some fantastic glass items (those you are seeking) make their way to a store near you, my friend. I love the Haeger riser and the black marble vase. I purchased a number of those risers years ago at the Haeger factory and have used them over and over in different places in my home. That black vase, I use for kitchen utensils. So glad you found your lamp shade!

Thanks for the lovely reply🙂 I went out thrifting today and would you believe I came home with not only one of your beautiful silver baskets $2 but also a beautiful silver teapot teapot, hall marks included for $8 plus a few other goodies for France. Thrifting in my area is not what it used to be but I take my time and it's only occasionally I come home with out something useful. Really look forward to thrifting in France once I am finally able to return home. (Heaven knows when that will be since France shut their borders last night). On the look out for the glass candle holders now on my trips as I like to use votives in the evening to wind down the day with a cup of tea.
