Another interesting and enjoyable video! We've really been spoilt with all these videos over the last couple days! 😀👍

This is a great video. Very useful. I would like to see how you wire up a crossing for both directions, 4 sets of lights and the barrier arm operating. If I could how you do it I would be interested in buying. Maybe you can ask them to sponsor the next part. Nice work MRM

Nice. I am just about to add this to a new child's layout I am making for Christmas. I am having a series of 8 switches for various lights to make it more interactive and the crossing will be on one of the 8 switches so he can manually turn them off and on.

Aren’t the barriers supposed to raise and fall according to the sensors too? Good video. It looks simple enough. Thanks for the video.

Hi Jim, there are options that you can add solenoids to make the barriers move however because Train-Tech supplied us the products free of charge for the article and video, I asked for the cheapest version so Train-Tech were giving away the smallest monetary value of their products as possible.

Hey quick question. Because I have a two track layout I was wondering if I were to buy these how easy would it be to have two lights, two track on sensors and if possible can you unplug the speaker and not break the connection?

Would it be possible to operate this crossing with a simple switch and a 9V battery?

Can these be used on Lego city train tracks? Is there a link for purchase,?
@VauxhallRailfanАй бұрын
I dont think you can use them with lego, because the rails are plastic and so are the wheel sets.

Shame you've used the highly inaccurate Hornby level crossing. The markings on the crossing do not match the required UK road markings (these markings have been in use since the 1960s). Go and look at the ORR's pamphlet on level crossings to see what I mean.
