It was a rocky road but after 3 days I finally finished it (It is my second ever Project, after the donut of course xD). Thank you for the tutorial:)

Thank you for the tutorial, it was really useful to get an idea of how modelling environmental scenes goes into work. The only remark that I have is about the (to me) unusual render approach by which I in all honesty am still a bit confused. And in case you need any input of your audience, a tutorial solely about modelling a house would be nice in which you could take a more in-depth look on which techniques to use. Thanks again, you really helped me out by a lot

Thank you very much for such great tutorials! - I got a question: for some reason in a Composition tab in my Render layers node I'm getting half of options that are shoes in your vid? can you please advise, why is it so? I can't setup composition properly - there is only Image, Alpha and Depth plugs - thank you in advance for any help (Blender 2.92)

Are you maybe rendering in Eevee? I believe that has less options

This was great! I have this sudden issue where in edit mode only the object I’m selecting is in wireframe. Every other object stays normal. All the answers like clicking the overlay button isn’t the problem. Any ideas?
@MrTriPie2 жыл бұрын
I played around with it a bit, if you go to edit mode, overlay drop-down, is hidden wire enabled? (in edit mode it will make the selected wireframe only, and if overlays is disabled it leaves the selection invisible)

@@MrTriPie I looked and that isn’t checked either. One possible hint is that in that dropdown under “Geometry” the Wireframe, Opacity and Fade Inactive are grayed out but you can still move the sliders.

@@MrTriPie this morning when I went into the project it was magically fixed! Some bug I guess. Thanks for looking into it though for sure!

No problem! I'm surprised I found a feature that looked similar to your bug though, maybe the bug was somehow Hidden Wire got enabled in the background without showing it in the UI?

Hi, thanks for the video. Don't know is it correct or not but probably something wrong with lights inside lanterns. It have like a orange circle of lights with sharp edges, how to fix it? I've tried to uncheck the "Multiple Importance" in light settings and it took it away but not really in correct way

Hi! My laptop keeps lagging/not responding since I add the Snow part. I don't know what to do. Is there a better way to minimize that part or is it because of the sizes or what? Thanks a lot 😊
@MrTriPie3 жыл бұрын
Maybe its too high res, if you have a subdivision modifier there's an option to have the subdivision level higher for the render, but lower it to what performs good in the viewport when working on it. There is also in the render settings a Simplify category you can enable to set a max subdivision level in the viewport for your whole scene. You could also try having the area close to the camera/around the cabin higher resolution by going to the top view and box selecting the area you want higher res and pressing ctrl i to invert the selection, and using unsubdivide (either from the search menu on f3 or right click menu in edge or face selection mode). Or if its only slow in material preview or viewport render mode, the textures may be too high res, so you could try swapping them for the next level down in size.

@@MrTriPie it's only on that preview part because when I hide that object everything goes smoothly. I will try that. Thanks so much😊
