Great one! 4:40 when you have this wobbly surface. Just mesh -> conform into a smooth surface without holes and funky geo. It will be clean as heaven. :)

Another method you could use to get the mesh clean @4:30 would be smooth the underlying mesh out, then either make it live and pull your points onto it or use the shrinkwrap deformer

Loving the modeling. Will you be showing the steps to how you start texturing and creating a new file and what you block out first? I love the details. Inspired me to wanting to do something like this.
@ArtruismDigital4 жыл бұрын
Yes will definitely show the texturing process.

I’m still not over Ragnar’s death. This was amazing, thank you!
@ArtruismDigital4 жыл бұрын
I know right? After he is dead it starts to feel like a different show.
@MK_2023.4 жыл бұрын
@@ArtruismDigital I completely agree. The storyline just seemed to go out the window after Ragnar's death.

i get some tips/tricks in this video but mostly it's about manually. Can we get this result more quick and more procedural( modeling in houdini or use zbrush alphas and imm brush etc.) nice video like always.
@ArtruismDigital4 жыл бұрын
I'm sure you can use Houdini to do this too.

For someone claiming not to be a modeler you are doing a pretty good job of fooling everyone(:

Besides the while thing being beautiful... how the fUck did u managed to import that model into zbrush under 4.5k polys??? It’s so detailed. I’m too noob for this...
@vipermjs4 жыл бұрын
is it possible to do this all in substance designer?
@ArtruismDigital4 жыл бұрын
You mean having all the geometry using displacement maps? I don't think it will work as well.

When you sculpt in zbrush and go to SP and bake , how much should i do scupting in zbrush and where is the limit painting in SP? I tried to follow your tutorial, but it makes me confused. ex) budha mask tutorial

Great work. But for the record, speaking as an archaeologist, the design costumes in the Viking Series is not archaeologically accurate at all. But they are cool, nevertheless. :)
