Good time lapse video. I saw your link for "*DOWNLOAD MY FREE 4 SECRETS TO PHOTO-REALISTIC TEXTURING*, but the link does not work. I realize it was 4 years ago when the video was posted.. Do you have a new link to it? I'm trying to improve my texturing skills for my 3D models I appreciate any help you can offer.

hi do you how to crack this software mari please kindly help with that
@redrig1232 ай бұрын
that was an overkill, especially the houdini part. you can do this in 3dsmax in 10 mnts

Substance become more advanced then Mari in the vfx industry, It can handle 1000s of Udim work flow with out any issues, Mari can also but its not realistic and needs artistic heavy handheld approach, it won't give you extra realism as nature and procedural stuff does, and in the busy production schedule and reviewing, its tedious and destructive workflow, only thing it has node based which is helpful but not proper viewport to visualize textures on top you end up bunch of lookdev nodes in 3d software matching to look and time it goes there a lot to achieve. You right its only good for projection organic stuff still to create effective texturing Mari needs all the maps from substance and now Mari is been adopting all the tech from substance lately.

Great video! I think in a lot of situations, if you use things like a roll brush to add on seams / seam-creasing etc. you can use that height data to add the off colors / washed colors via compare masks. Really helps getting a good base for washed protruding creases or the oversaturation of tight bunched up creases after the "dying process".

Very nice sculpture of a woman's head. I, for one, don't see any mistakes in anatomy here. I really don't know why you are so critical of yourself. Unless it's the mere resemblance to the original (reference). Aha in the video you start with a base model. This base was made by you? If not, such carving makes no sense.

Thanks for the tutorial, but how can I use the mask builder?! I created the black and white effect using the mask generator but I dont see how to properly use that as a effect on the object. It stays as black and white here XD

ohhh I love her adornments and how the shoulder fabrics mimic butterflies! So pretty :D My ultimate goal and dream for my career, is to be able to do this. I want to take the classes, but my biggest concern right now is getting a setup that will make doing this kind of work feasible. I would absolutely love any advice on whether I should build a pc, or invest in a Wacom. I know both options are expensive, so I this decision is important to me. What is going to get me the farthest as a graphic designer and 3D artist? I'm a single mom in my last year of university. I study graphic design and fine arts. Deciding on the right setup is crucial, as I am not likely to have the opportunity to purchase any other one for a long time. PS, thank you for taking the time to read this <3

Hello Mrs. I have a small request from you. I want to buy your brushes from Gumroad, but they are too expensive for me because inflation in my country is very high. Gumroad wants to help us with this. And it applies a different pricing policy in countries where the monthly income is 350 dollars. If you activate Enable purchasing power parity in the settings section, it will give a suitable price according to my country. To tell you how bad our economy is, it is enough to say that we had to work for 3.5 months to buy an iPhone 15 Pro.

Looked this up after seeing someone do scales manually from scratch in zbrush, thinking there's gotta be a way to much more efficiently do this with patterns and or substance designer and a more efficient workflow. Very cool to see how you did it!

This video is very helpfull. You can also use Substance Painter instead of Mari for projecting details. If it wasn't for you, i would have never even think about doing something like this. Thanks a lot!

9:42 Trust me, you are anything but lazy - you are efficient and know the right tools to use when you want faster results. There's no shame in using premade alphas to bring out the levels of detail. Plus, I've heard no one in the industry does anything from scratch. Great job on this sculpt, you are an inspiration to us all!
