Fantastic work. I was wondering what I will do when I start doing glass tubing for my project.

Sometimes I also use a "wedge method". This method is useful when I need to keep precise curvature of pipes.
@OnMars3D3 жыл бұрын
Great tip! Wedge Method is definitely worth using from what I've seen online, is that a default tool in Maya or a script?
@jwinter83473 жыл бұрын
@@OnMars3D default Wedge face tool
@jwinter83473 жыл бұрын
@@OnMars3D of course you need to use it with additional cylinder, not default "edge-face" of the same object
@OnMars3D3 жыл бұрын
@@jwinter8347 Yeah, I see what you mean, I found this tutorial from 'malcom341' that covers it really well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2rPhHuDbcZ8eKM I haven't used this tool before but I will now, so thanks for sharing your tip!

These are amazing! I have a question though, If for example I want to have those "turns" change in elevation, is it safer to use the Curve extrude or can we still use the SNAP Extrude and use soft selection? Idk pls help me XD
@OnMars3D2 жыл бұрын
I've used curve extrude if the pipes have to turn mode organically, I would use whatever works :)

Very useful information for beginner! Unfortunately when I was studying, there was no such complex lesson on KZbin. Oh yeah, Wedge tool was forgotten.
