Kinda obvious in the bar scene that its not him walking into that 20th century roadhouse - the suits may look decent, but the helmets sure are a tight fit - this movie has that thing often found in low-budget crap, where there's very few people around. I feel so bad for Bruce man he’s my all time fave action hero as a kid since he was the first to portray a regular guy somehow beating the odds and being the hero; not some gigantic tank and behemoth of a person like Arnold or something. The 5th element, Die Hard saga were so influential to me as a kid growing up in the 90s. To know just how bad his health is, it’s just truly heartbreaking and the manipulation and abuse that execs and producers did to him to get many of these abysmal films made just to have him in them is horrible. I’m glad his family and Demi Moore are taking care of him now. The guy has so much money somewhere around 4-600 million dollars, he doesn’t need to make more films. Especially when they’ll just tarnish his name as a great actor. Love ya Bruce! Always will! I hope you have the best, comfortable life in retirement from here on out. You deserve nothing short of it.

I went to a talk by John McTiernan, the director of Die Hard 1 & 3. He explained that when he wrote the script for Die Hard 1, it was supposed to go to Richard Gere but then decided to go with Willis and rewrote the script for him. He said it was a difficult task at first because back then, he only played in movies where his character was an asshole so moviegoers didn't like him. Then, he had an idea : he made John McClane's character an asshole yes, but a self-hating asshole. DUring the whole movie he insults himself, always acknowledges when he fucks up etc... So people would relate more to him, the rest is history. I think that's why everyone knows him as this retired cop and nothing else, it was when his character was the most appealing, and these kind of movies aren't really made anymore so he can't play that role

Yeah, the name is decent, I don't know why he thinks it strange. Millions of people live in a city state called "New York", that used to be "New Amsterdam" located in "New Netherlands". People colonizing things and calling them "New xyz" is pretty common in history. We suck at naming creativity.

Also, what did people name their cities when they arrived at America? New York, New Orleans, new whatever. It's such a human thing to do.

Hey! Was wondering if you could review Killer Klowns From Outer Space? It's a horror comedy sci-fi B movie about alien clowns, and I wanted to see your view on it

Judging by how he acted around Kevin Smith, Bruce Willis doesn’t care about the art anymore. He has just been going through the moments for paychecks for years now. It is a shame to see how much he really has fallen as an actor and all due to him just not caring anymore.

Just learned today that Bruce Willis has dementia. Apparently he agreed to all these movies to make extra money to support his family 😢 as of right now (08 Nov 2023) he can't even talk anymore and is declining super fast. His daughter posed a picture with him and he looks rough.

I thought the same and checked, the editing was (partly) done by someone else. In the description he credits "@replayed" for help with editing. I'm glad! :)

The armor in Cosmic sin was literally armor from Halo but changed just a bit. The armor Bruce Willis wore is literally Master Chief's armor but with small changes to it. Also the sounds they used for the guns in Breach were the turret sounds from Halo as well

Yeah Willis stopped giving consistently good performances after 1998 when Armageddon and Mercury Rising came out, and the Sixth Sense was filming. Then he kinda stopped trying after Unbreakable, and then completely stopped trying at all and started treating acting more like a burden after 16 Blocks back in 2006.
@ssllsg94393 жыл бұрын
16 blocks is a freaking good movie. RED is good as well. sin city? looper? a good day to die hard? surrogates? grindhouse? and then theres this one,where,hes a doctor that became a vigilante or something.thats pretty good as well. out of 10 movies,8 are shit,and 2 are decent,is what i wanted to say.the same goes to nic cage.

Since this video was released it has come out that Bruce Willis suffers from Aphasia. A serious disorder that affects how you communicate. It can impact your speech, as well as the way you understand both spoken and written language.
