Thanks! I had a custom cake business out of my home for about 13 years;) I finally outgrew myself and new I didn't want to have the overhead and stress of a store front. So now I have a boss and a studio. That's a win win!

I love your style and the way you give such great tips and ideas, without being condescending, like other decorators! My husband and I are looking for a new house in NY state. Preferably one with an in-law or attached kitchen. I am known for my sugar flower work and watched your video on pricing correctly for your celebratory cakes. I have to get over feeling like my prices are too high because I hate turning away customers, ugh! Anyway, thank you so much and please keep making these wonderful tutorials ❤️

Thank you so much Lisa! I really appreciate that:) When it comes to pricing, the best advice I can give is that not everyone is your client. You don't have to take everything and burn out. You are worth every penny, and you know how much time and $ you put in to your creations. THe average person has absolutely no idea. We will never be able to convince that person that our art is worth it, and you don't have to:)

Your creativity amazes me! I’ve never seen that technique before. I’m curious how long you usually work on a cake from start to finish. I know that totally depends on the particular cake, but do you have an average range of time?

Well I would shave to guess, but the baking and frosting take about 2 hours. decorating probably another 3 to 6?

I am sorry. meant trying the baking and making the frosting. Including baking time would be about 2 hours. Then the rest of the time would be stacking, filling, frosting and decorating..
