Just a hint for those balls. If you cut the mold first, put it together with elastic or tape. Then when it is hardened you take off the tape and voila. There may be a ten bump at the join but that is a lot easier to sand.

I too am a big DT cemented! May I share: I dry DT oil spray from the food isle and spray the plastic pots, bowls and/or ornaments, lightly and gently rub it around. Cement just pops out most times. On occasion I pour boiling water on the mold and that works too. Happy cementing! Oh and yes please do a video of your mishaps. Thank you!

I loved all projects! Tip for you who don’t like the color of regular gray cement, there is a cement blanc, which is almost an offwhite cement and is so much better for adding colors :)

I make lots of cement home decor too . Spray it with cooking oil then use a basting brush to evenly coat it . Then pour hot water not boiling thought over object when it's dry and it will glide out ❤

If you don't like the lines on the balls from the saw - you can mix up some more cement and go back over them to fill in the lines! Just use your hands to smooth it all out.

Jorge I must admit that I’m a bit adhd with diy KZbin channels. I quickly find a favourite, kinda fall in love with the content, then become quickly bored and move on to the new favourite etc. But your DIYs, creative unpretentious genius, candour and amazing genuine personality have kept me intrigued and excitedly awaiting your next video since you started this channel. While most diy creators on KZbin seem to get stuck in the same “rut” or constantly recreate projects from other channels you have found a way to create projects that are unique, stunning and on point in terms of current decor. Pieces that anyone would be proud to show off in their homes. Even more proudly saying I made that, when asked where it was purchased from. I sincerely appreciate you showing how to create such beauty, while equally appreciating you showing “mistakes” as it’s definitely a confidence booster! The first project, candle holders, was AWESOME! My brain was blown to bits wondering how you imagined that one and no less, it worked out perfectly! Also loved the "stone" bowl. I think I will try that one, but use the technique that you used on the balls to add a bit of marbled look. Yes, I would love to see fails, fixing fails, etc. That would be a treat! I learned in art class if you can use a back massager to pop cement bubbles! I grabbed the cheap handheld one from Walmart and it works! No more ugly bubbles in my cement projects!

One way to make the cement spheres with no wastage is to use silicon moulds or those fillable baubles that come apart ❤ love all of these ideas

I really enjoy your DIY'S ! IM Into the cement creations too. I haven't filmed any yet, though! Years & years ago, I worked for a company, that made ficus trees for home decor. So I have some knowledge of using it. I'm excited to see some DIY 'S using cement! Brilliant! Also nice to see a man, Art/Crafter! I loved your abstract painting you did for the " double up frame" insert! You didn't know if you painted mountains or clouds! It was beautiful!

Cut the Christmas deco balls in half and then tape them back together prior to pouring the cement into them. Afterwards pull the tape off to release the spheres.

For the cement balls, can you cut the molds in half first, them tape them together before you fill them? Just removing the tape to release seems easier than cutting the mold after. Just a thought.

I've worked alot with cement such as these projects if you use an oil or plastic wrap to to coat your containers insides you will have an easyer time getting item out after cement is dried 😉

The candle holders are awesome too, I'd make 3 of different eights by cutting the bottom of the plastic at different heights (if the cut top still fits in the base, that is)

When you pour cement into a plastic container it’s a good idea to rub a little bit of oil inside the container. If it doesn’t release after setting up pour boiling water over it and it will pop out
