33:16 Ren’s friends have talked about the filming of this video in various places… iirc, it was filmed the basement of the same building where Animal Flow was filmed, in the bike room. (They had to unbolt the bike rack and drag it out of the way.) The IV stand is a light stand (for photography equipment). The bed they ordered ended up being child sized, so they have it propped up higher. (From some angles you can see that it appears to be levitating 😅) The bed wasn’t very stable, either, so Ren had to be careful not to topple it, on top of everything else he was already keeping in mind for the one-take. Just incredible what they’ve put together here. And your reaction really does it justice!!

I'm sorry, but it's definitely not. I know reacting to things is about to talk what u see, but in some cases it's way better to be quiet and talk afterwards. At least the Part in Violets Tale. Do u rly mean the words, special when Steavie hit her, do not speak for themselfes and there is something that urgent to explain to pause the vid every single word? U have to pause every second cause u think u have to explain something everyone got in the fist place? I mean it's not an Eminem song where every line has 3 or 4 different meanings. To me it destroyed the story. Sorry to say that.
@dielhey Жыл бұрын
@@LauKaMo Well, first of all, you've seen the warning, he said he will pause a lot, so you can't really complain about that. Moreover, reacting is all about expressing what goes through your mind during the content, and expressing your thoughts during it. So it makes a lot of sense for him to pause, especially since he doesn't know there will be a big twist at the end, so he paused the same way he did before. Then again, he also stopped posing for 20-30 seconds in the end until the big twist, which shows he was still fascinated by the song and the storytelling, and instinctively felt like he had to let it run. It was my favorite reaction, he gave the most insights and had the best reactions and thoughts I've seen of those clips.
@workingit30555 ай бұрын
@@LauKaMoI hear you. I thought it was going to be long bc of some in depth analysis. It's long bc he doesn't know when to STFU. He's re-explaining, what Ren JUST EXPLAINED! "Her father never left the room and he's not telling us what happened, leaving us to read between the lines" RIGHT AFTER Ren said, "I'll spare you of the things he did..." and he did this MULTIPLE TIMES. Don't think I saw his Hi Ren reaction and I certainly won't go looking for it. React to comment on what you see and maybe a prediction but not to explain what the video is in the middle of explaining!!!

We initially picture Jenny as a woman walking down the street but knowing she’s 14 makes his description of her sad. A young girl walking the streets alone at night in high heels. And the way she froze in fear was similar to her silent mother, like it was in her blood. Love your video. This might be the first KZbin comment I’ve ever written, it truly is a masterful piece.

What a great RENaction, thank you for that! 😊 What I took from Violet breaking her silence was that she abandoned her protective mannerisms of staying quiet to save her children, also portraying the unconditional love of a mother for her children even before they are born. Putting the wellbeing of her children before her protecting herself and even staying alive herself. I think Ren did a wonderful job portraying that in a single verse. What a masterpiece! Edit: Additionally, in the way he portrayed all the characters, you can tell that Jenny inherited her mother's characteristic features and Screech inherited his father's.

Yes! This should be a full stage show. If you haven't already seen 'Crutch' ft Bibi (his girlfriend at the time) I strongly advise it - another complete work of pure artistry that should be on a stage. It's beautifully tragic and exposes Ren's psychotic mind. You'll love it - I promise ❤

Great reaction! You did a great job analyzing and picking up on a lot of the subtle things Ren baked into this tale. After listening to this a few times it struck me about how “Stevie” was an abusive prick (like screech became) and Violet was a silent victim of abuse (like Jenny frozen like a statue) when Screech attacked her. Ren is the modern bard we need. Unbelievable talent and creativity.

I love this trilogy to the core of my bones. Seen dozens of reactions. Yours and Knox's breakdowns are the best by far. Being Knox's the most technical one, and yours the most detailed one. Really worth the hour. Amazing job. You got yourself another subscriber. Peace!

Excellent breakdown of the story. I have listened to a lot of them so it a qualified "excellent". With reactors I only put my own take on the artist and the song in my comments. This time also The Reactor!! Subscribed my only subscription to reactors channel. Well Done

This trilogy always breaks my heart. You feel so bad that Jenny loses her life when she did nothing to cause it. You feel so conflicted when it comes to Screech because you have no idea what his life was like. When Violet's Tale starts, you have no idea where the story will take us. I was in a very abusive marriage for 6 of the 8 years that I was married to my ex-husband. I completely empathize with poor silent Violet. When Stevie pulled open her eyelids, I shiver and feel so distressed. That is such a hellish torture to me. I became so scared throughout that whole scenario. The minute I found out that Violet was pregnant I had to control my breathing, but I couldn't stop crying. I was 5 months pregnant when I escaped my toxic marriage. I left in February 2-0-0-5 (heart dropping). I almost named her Violet. When you find out that her twins are Jenny and Screech, you can't believe what you are hearing. The trilogy went full circle. Jenny and Screech came into this world with the same violent start that Violet had. Jenny stood still like a statue just like her Violet stayed silent. Screech turned violent when Jenny stood there like a statue just like Stevie did mad about Violet's silence. The twins took after the birthparents they never met. As Ren repeated many times, it's such a shame. Great reaction. I love how involved you are. You notice so much and that excites me because you get it. You connect with Ren's music and are a great addition to the RENegade community. ❤

I just watched your reaction to Hi Ren and honestly, after watching close to a hundred reactions to Hi Ren, yours was one, if not the best and most complete I've seen. Really stoked to what you have to say about this one ( 2 minutes in at this time! )

Alright, here's my reaction: Nice! I liked when you said that Screech was probably coming from a broken family.... that was too much. And your reaction when he said "two twins laying side by side", priceless. But then, here's a few things you might have overlooked or missed out on, especially on Violet's tale, which to me is the tale that binds it all together; First in the hospital room, I think you were right, as Violet was confined, since she was born into that family and was stuck into her little place where she didn't have a choice but to comply (and to be honest you are the first one to come up with that interpretation from what I know, so thumbs up!), as it is in most hospital room. You either leave or go with it. Then, the thing I comment on the most is you may have overlooked or misinterpreted the scene in the hallway. When she (Ren) is standing on the taped square, living in the flat paid by our welfare scheme, it's the only time in her life where she has been free from all the abuse. Then on Jenny's tale, the camera is most of the time Jenny. Ren is playing the narrator and Screech on that part and rarely looks at the camera other than when Screech talks to Jenny. Screech's tale is much more self centered until it flips to Richard's POV. In the end, good work! I think you've captured most of the messages (IMO) and delivered a genuine and thoughtful reaction to that masterpiece. I'm hoping I can see more of your work. Cheers!

Great reaction! 2 things to think about; What was Jenny at 14 doing out late at night in high heels walking a path she'd walked a thousand times before? And Patrick wasn't home & Screech's girl was busy? Wink wink 😮 Ren reaction # 969 I've kept track & your breakdown of this trilogy was on point and felt like 20 minutes easy watch Thanks! I can't believe at 53 how this young man has REN-EWED my musical heart, mind & soul. God bless Ren and get well soon!

I knew I wasn't the only one that though of Jenny's "job" retrospectively, that's what she wanted to escape: a life of violence and sexual abuses... just like her mother.

Ren didn't come up with Violet's Tale until years after Jenny and Screech's Tales. The newscast he based it on was about a prostitute killed by a teenager. But it pretty much works to make Jenny 14 for the most part. Ren figured out how to make his old music even more impactful by adding this final tale.

50 years from now music students all over the world will be studying Ren and his work. Such is the impact that he is making. I got my roundup of the year from Spotify last week and apparently, just on Spotify, I had listened to “The Tales” 263 times since January and Hi Ren wasn’t far behind! Adding in KZbin that would make that figure much higher! The best part is that there are Renegades out there have listened to/watched them more than that! It truly is a work of genius.✊🏼🐷 #Renegade Fantastic reaction dude.
