My laundry room is same size as yours,but i have door going from garage then door out to back yard which is only way everyone gets outside. This room is seen also from long hall from kitchen. Iam struggling with space, decorating and making it functional. I love what you did and your design gave me motivation to keep going and trying to work with what i do and don't have. Hi !! It is a lot of work but at the end very satisfying to have accomplished it!! You are very courageous to want to do the kitchen yourself but do hire someone then later enjoy it! Your laundry room is adorable. Someday I'll get to ours but I have 3 bathrooms to do first. (After I finish the kitchen.) I painted my kitchen cabinets. The doors will go on this weekend. I think it's going to be pretty. I used a medium blue-gray with brushed nickel pulls. Next project is a very, very BLUE tiled 60s bathroom. I thought I'd have to use special epoxy paint which requires open windows & doing everything at once because the epoxy hardens or something. I can only work for an hour or so til I have to stop & rest my back. But you used regular paint so I could work in sections! You made this seem to be a do-able project. Now I'm excited!

Beautifully clean and simple. You are so lucky your husband is handy and can help you . My husband is not handy AT ALL. We have to hire out when we need something done.

Hi Dana. What a terrific before and after refresh. It looks so much brighter and prettier! For me, there is only one thing missing and that would be a drop-down folding shelf under the hangers. The room may be to narrow for that or you may have another place for folding. I just thought I'd put it out there.

I feel painting tile is intimidating to a lot of folks. It's a process but the outcome is Sooooo Worth it. The first time I did it I was in Awe and wondered why I waited as long as I did.

Great makeover! I would turn the white tray on the shelf upside down and put the plants and picture on top of it. They’re hard to see inside the tray. Just a thought!
