Never seen it before, but it does look nice to use. I think it's closed cell PVC foam board, which is basically like the foam board you get where it's two pieces of paper with foam in the middle, but with plastic instead of paper.

I'm also a very big architect.... I mined biggest of the biggest mines for cobblestones, cooked them to make stone. Used stone cutter to make them stone bricks and used those bricks to make a flying fortress in Minecraft Survival! Project took weeks to complete.
