Wow, thank you so much for that detailed description on all the basic functions and controls. Although I am fully comfortable with riding and getting on and off a 500 or 750 cc motorcycle, the Vespa is new to me so thanks too for showing getting on/off properly too, much appreciated! 😎

As a motorbike rider I'm always blown away by how practical this things are, a freaking hook to hang shopping wtf that's the best thing I've seen all week, practicality orgasms overload. The seat cover were you just smush it in the hole...10/10... and that hook to hang a helmet off the side, dude that's just ingenuity. Plus these things come with usb as standard wtf...in a glove compartment WTF

This is the best video I've seen explaining how to use a Vespa. My wife just bought me my friend's 2011 150 LX Vespa Premivera and this video is going to be saved in my KZbin list. Thank you.

Just bought a GTS 250 and this was very informative. I didn't know about the manual trunk release, the tool kit, the seat tarp, the helmet hook, locking the steering to the left, so much useful stuff. Thank you so much, subscribed.

An excellent commentary. There are too many long winded waffling commentaries that take 20 minutes to impart five minutes of useful information but this guy has the art truly refined. No words are wasted, everything is right to the point. Well done, I shall take the lessons I learnt from you and try to emulate them in my videos. Thanks.

Just bought an 06 GT 200 really like this scooter. Thanks for a quick thorough explanation of everything. Fantastic. My question is mine comes with a side stand. Sitting on bike and kick it forward lay bike on it to left. Never used the Center stand but easy to put on Center stand off side stand. Why did they delete it on newer bikes?

Excellent instruction covering the controls and functions of the 300. I'm wondering what the dual wind screens are all about? Are they similar to BMW height extension screens for taller riders?
@VespaMotorsport8 жыл бұрын
+Gary Bowen Thanks! Yes, this is a Faco twin screen. You can raise and lower the height of the upper screen. Check out our video highlighting this product here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGnOgoqbj5mMi7M

The only issues I have with the centre stand is that it can’t be operated whilst sitting on the Scooter, like with the Vespa PX. Particularly impractical when parking in a narrow bike parking bay like we have in UK. Also, standing to the left isn’t always possible as that’s where our pavement/sidewalk is!
@carlkalland30895 жыл бұрын
C7TV You can take it off the centre stand whilst sitting on it, but cannot put it onto the stand whilst sitting on it.

I'm having trouble calibrating the asr after tire change; I've checked for manuals (bought my scooter, 2015 just recently and did not have a manual); the one in English looks ok, but I just don't know what I'm doing wrong, cause I'll end up with both ABS and EFI/ASR lights on permanently. The manual in Spanish shows some inconsistencies and, with the help of Google Translate, I tried looking for the manual in Italian, but there is none for the Super GTS with ABS, etc. so, no good. I wonder if you have a video on how to do this; I'm in the middle of nowhere and this seems to be the first and only vespa in town, so no use in taking it to a mechanic, and the nearest workshop is about 200 miles away. Or, would it be too much to ask you to make one, please?? Cheers from who knows where

VESPA Scooter designs have gone downhill since Vespa's PIAGGIO 80's look. Society has spent too much time on SUVs and the like. Cleaner, larger scooters with more climbing torc, should be on the market. When Lambretta went bankrupt in '82 the ideal scooter "look" was dead to me. There may be some newer models of either LAMB OR VESPA style I would consider but I am on the fence. Never ever sell a classic 4 money to travel because you never know if you will get it back. Ciao, ciao my '73 LI150 LAMB. lol Napoleon says, "Idiot!"

Has anything changed within the last few years on the terrible rust problem Vespas has? They’re rust buckets!
@reubenkirkman85416 жыл бұрын
They are only rust buckets when people don’t look to repair them, if you see a bit of rust, sort it out as soon as you can, then you have no problems with them!
@MujoNovak5 жыл бұрын
overpriced like its gold
@BOYVIRGO6665 жыл бұрын
It depends on the brand. Vespas are the gold standard of scooters and they hold value and maintain easy enough that the cost is worth it. Not to say cheaper brands arent worth it but a lambretta is not a vespa.
