Honestly, say what you want about Flame Swordsman, but its *really fun* to actually play. Its intuitive, the equip spell focus works better than you'd think and its suprisingly consistent. And the fact that it can splashed into a suprising amount of decks like Infernobles is great lol Fun fact: Immortal Pheonix Gearfried is a great tech pick for this setup. Summoning him is barely even an issue and he makes the end board of the deck sturdier in the event you can't OTK your opponent

I feel the best way to play Flame Swordsman is with Snake Eyes and the Infernoble cards, it sets up an insane board and has shockingly strong boardbreaking potential bot normally and with a Mikanko package. I faced one the other day that set up like 14 interruptions on me, and another one that played a turn 1 Reinoheart, Snow, and full combo in hand.

There was no German state, but Austria and Prussia were German-speaking and the centers of German culture. You can use the statement you just said about any German in that era if you want to be a giant pedant. Also Mozart was born in Augsburg, which is in Bavaria. Retroactively applying modern national identities just doesn't work, since the political and cultural state was very different back then. This is the main thing I see non-experts do when they try to discuss history and it is always frustrating.

Gold Sarc do be you either just kill them or you die. It really could do with having a bit more control and protection. Only being able to set the traps from the deck is silly. Stronghold/Mirror Force and the Silents having zero benefit if nuked is bad as well.

Problem is if you make it too good then now they have a consistent way to destroy and BANISH the entire field and they plus off it. I agree it needs more support, yugi has more cards to adapt like Kuriboh but its a very fine line they need to walk

@@SonyGaming5X That limit wouldn't even hurt most of the current meta decks, Yubel was a strong viable deck in the no extra festival and Tenpai can get away with one or two extra deck summons a turn and still OTK you.

I say this not seeing the follow-up play, but surely the first Flame Swordsman player would've been better off searching Renaud off of the Durendal, searching Roland off of the Isolde hand search, and summoning Ricciardetto off of the Isolde That way, they can add the Durendal back off of Renaud to trigger Angelica to extend into Charlemagne (and the Roland allows you to trigger the Charles effect on the opponent's turn)
