For future reference or anyone who what's to try this, the best way to remove the top part of the sharpie is to grab the cap and the bottom of the sharpie while it is closed and then just bend it the top will pop off

Craft paper fitted with insulation is extremely flammable. Insulation has a flash point but it’s high. Craft paper that ignites has the potential to get the insulation to flash point, where it contains so much heat it combusts. I was making a joke but if you dickheads want to be serious about it, yeah fibreglass Insulation can catch fire quickly when working with homemade jet fuel

Corey you can take a blowtorch directly to fibeglass and it melts. That’s it’s safety feature. It however combusts when it contains heat that has been building and building and building from what its surrounded in or around, if craft paper catches fire, and the beams and structures within the walls also catch fire, left to burn the fibreglass will reach a point in which it won’t be able to take any more heat and dispose of it so it’ll just go up in flames. The majority of it would have been melted away by that point anyways

Potassium chlorate in the right ratio with sugar will give off more smoke and burns cooler. You can add dyes for colored smoke too.

I have a suggestion for this, instead of cutting of the top and threading the string through, you can just pour hot glue into the top of the cap and put the rest of the pen into the cap upside down, let it cool and then you can pop it. this way, it will look more natural

Instead of cooking the smoke mix to a paste keep it as a powder and mix in melted wax. Iv seen tutorials online that show you get a longer more controlled burn with more smoke and less flame as a result.

The actual way to build it would be best to use the thicker version of the r candy so that way we can then use the end of the stick to make just a short hole once r candy starts lighting you don't need anything else to keep it going I will go on its own then also instead of cutting the tip the way you did just pull the nib out and put the Armstrongs Wick through the top where the nib was then glue it inside the cap so that way it has a nice tight seal and it will pop very easily. Just think how hard it was to pull the Sharpie apart no glue will be needed to keep the wick in place other than in the cap

They're big bulky sumbiches meant for use in a general contractor setting. There are also the metal cased sharpie magnum, but I'd tread lightly with that. We're already in grenade territory.

How about a simple, practical video. Like how to sharpen a knife properly (like brians dull knife on his multitool)... Show how to use different stones, wet, oil, diamond. Show how to make your own sharpening stone by finding the right stones and using one to smooth out the other. Making yourself a good wetstone for zero money. I forget what stones they are, but they're common near water I believe. Saw a video about making them once. Smoke pens are cool, don't get me wrong. But some more practical skills (like how to fell a tree, how to cook food without any cookware, stuff like that) maybe how to distill your own spirits (for emergency purposes. Only, obviously)...

I think a good way to do the fuse would be to use a small dab of hot glue on the end of the pull string and glue it to the inside of the cap It'd make it more concealed and a more fluid trigger when you pull the cap off.
