You don't need a blade or saw at all for smaller zip ties. You can break them with the zip tie hip slam thing. It's really easy. I've practiced it a few times and taught all of my little siblings how to do it. Also replacing your shoe laces with 550 paracord is a good idea. It works as a friction saw. Unlace your shoe, tie a loop around the toe of your foot, throw the cord over the zip tie or duct tape on your hands, and then loop the other end to your other foot. Then you basically make peddling motions to drag the paracord across the restraints. It will eat right through them.
@stephenburley45815 жыл бұрын
For the razor wire one, you can probably do your wrists easier than the others, by gripping the ends between your toes, and using your leg power. (For the record, I'm pretty sure I didn't come up with this idea, but I have no recollection where I learned this technique. Sorry for not crediting anyone)

The coin with the string saw. When it comes to the hands I suggest that it's possible to make it with your hands bound. To get it around the tape is possible. Use your toes to pinch that one and then either your mouth or your thumb and kmdex finger you cam with small movements cut through it.

High test fishing line can be a useful alternative to thinner metal snare wires, the thinnest braided spectra lines make great undetectable saws, snares, and improv weapons. It’s kinda specialty, but I like the ring; and not trying to blow up the spot, but a torsion wrench (or a section, long enough to grip) can open standard handcuff restraints with a few seconds privacy. You guys have vids that show how to shim locks, just an ersatz shim. For tape and zips, if at wrist, and you can interlace fingers (best case), use hand leverage from grip to exceed tensile capacity. Works up to thin leather bindings, tape, etc... non welded chains. I’m a fairly strong guy, but that is me essentially messing around and trying not to hurt my old ass. Adrenaline rush, and without any reason not to, dislocating your hand can be a lifesaver... just relocate correctly or have it done when possible. This whole last paragraph is “don’t do this shit unless you’re in a spot that injury risk is commensurate.”, and all of this is academic. I stand by the claims on aramid high test lines, braided for saws, monofilament for snares/garrotes, being superior. Singe ends, like paracord. Apologies for giant wall of text, it’s just a topic I have some personal experience with. Not garrotes, in any case, again this is all academic. E: I said torsion wrench, though bob pins can work, and are fine for zips. Flimsy but adequate. Also grammar.
