I don't know the exact specs of this brushless dc motor. If the size of the wire diameter is small and the number of coils, the supply voltage is more than 100V. I tried modifying it so that it can be supplied with a lower voltage of 36V but without changing the wire diameter to a larger size. That is just changing the configuration of the connection between the coils to a combination of series and parallel. And it worked out really well. High torque and 500% rpm up from the original winding. It can save time and cost with excellent results. From this modification, it is hoped that it can be used on a sufficiently low voltage source, for example to be applied to an electric bicycle or a source of propulsion for other equipment. Of course by considering its effectiveness as needed. Next I will try to modify this brushless dc motor again for better performance with the same supply voltage. This brushless dc motor can also be used as a permanent magnet generator with a large enough power, low rpm and low cogging.
