Modified Variac with digital meter

Thanks for showing the meter mod because why have a volt meter that doesn’t start till 80 volts 👍

Great information and I was able to to get this working. Nice idea moving the fuse to the secondary side. If I can make some constructive criticism, the video cuts made it difficult to follow. A continuous video with slower pacing would allow the viewer more time to absorb the info. And would probably save you some time in post. Psionic Audio channel or Uncle Doug’s site are good examples.

I follow your steps and wire it the same as the video, but for some reason I can get it to work, I move the fuse to the secondary side and as soon as I turn the variac it blows the fuse. Any suggestion?
