i still remember i had 2 of the bigger versions of these in my elementary school gym and i would always watch them run. and i still remember there was a strong girl who threw a dodge ball at one and one of the fins fell off. luckily no one was under it. good times.

Installed the 36K BTU model two years ago in our garage- works great for keeping our 2 1/2 car garage warm. No problems, works as advertised.

you need to add a drip leg tee where it comes into your gas valve to protect your gas valve from water moisture .

I have a 75000 one of these, since I’ve had it it seems to take a long time to kick on, it goes around in cycles, stops , starts again, it can sometimes be 5 or ten minutes of stopping and starting the motor and fan before it blows warm air out, it sometimes goes into lock out. I have changed Ignitor & flame sensor, it still does it…wondering is there another part or switch that might make it do this? It does work pretty well once it’s going…. It’s just noisy with the stop starting sounds……surely it should kick in straight away like yours do in this video?

It might possibly need a control board

Hello jmc6000. Thanks for the video! I'm getting ready to install one of these. Probably the 60k BTU model for our 3 1/2 car garage in NE Ohio. It looks like you used unistrut. I couldn't tell if you mounted the unistrut to the trusses and then fastened the mounting bracket to it or possibly you lagged through the mounting bracket and unistrut into your trusses. Just curious as I plan my own installation. Thanks!

It was lagged through

How do you hook up thermostat
@thejmcGarage3 ай бұрын
The thermostat runs on a traditional 24volt system just like a house hold gas furnace

I have what is probably a stupid question......looking at your video I have installed my unit upside down. Are these units able to be installed with the ventilation on the top or bottom?
@thejmcGarage4 жыл бұрын
It does not mater on these units

I'm thinking about getting one of those, they have excellent reviews. I have a 2.5 stall garage, and was thinking about the 45,000 BTU model...I'm from Minnesota, and it can get 20-30 below sometimes.

They are really good heaters and this unit heats up my 20×20 garage nicely and I live in Alaska where it can get very chilly up here as well.

Is yours Propane or Natural gas?

Hi if you can recall, what did you use to hang the unit and what size bolts did you use? I'm about to hang mine next weekend and not sure what to use - yours looks great though so I thought I would ask.
