This is so good...not only is your patch freaking awesome, but the manner in which you describe how its made is excellent. I've only been doing modular for about 8 months and watched tons of tutorials. I can say without a doubt, your tutorial style is one of the best by far. Thanks for all the knowledge sharing! I have watched the video multiple times now just to go over how different things are working. Thanks also for listing out the modules you're using...any chance this build is on modular grid that could be shared?

Jeff, thank you for the support and for the thoughtful feedback. I do have the rack on Modular Grid, you can find it here: www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1411547

Please make more!!! I've been watching modular synth tuts for at least a year, and it's clear after all that that you're literally the only person in the scene that actually knows what their doing 🤣 Seriously, these videos are top top notch. You're clearly a master of the craft, I've learned so much so far.

Good teaching man. I really like all those notes so that if we don’t know the vocab, we can pause and process it. Great work.

Hey, this was awesome! I was hooked, and learned a thing or two. Great idea with cv into Pam to generate new random loops!

Yeah, it's one of those modules that does so much I can't really picture having a rack without it.

Glad ya dig! I'm using Quantermain here. Next week I'll get deeper into Quantermain and get into the Turing machine function.

This is so cool! But I'm not understanding how you are using the SPO to create new looping sequences by feeding CV into Pams, would you mind explaining that in more detail? Thank you! PS: Do you plan to continue KZbin? I really like your style of videos.
@KindStranger3 жыл бұрын
Yep, I'll be back with more videos soon. You can control pretty much anything on Pam's with CV if you set it up right. I'm going to do a Pam's video soon that will cover this.

Do you find the quantizer and scale/offset in Pams is too cumbersome and that’s why you used the o_C it was it more just habit?
@BeniRoseMusic3 жыл бұрын
Ah, I asked before I finished the video. Looks like you have good value in attenuating and offsetting the random sequence before it hits the quantizer and that’s just easier to do externally.

What are those white knobs on your WMD SSF SPO?
@KindStranger3 жыл бұрын
They're from a Maths, I wanted to color code the offsets and having the slightly smaller size makes it easier to use.
