After almost 2 years of modular and several attempts to read about and learn the krell I finally did my own patch with the modules I have. Feels like a milestone for my system and myself thanks to this video. Very good demonstration!

You really hit a sweet spot with these videos. Clear explanations, nice positive vibe and you can really feel you’re enjoying yourself. And I am taking a lot of inspiration from your well designed 6U case :)

Thank you so much for these videos, it's so so helpful to see accessible modular content that isn't focused on having specific gear!

Wonderful, thank you. You've got the levels of detailed info, clear examples and easy going Bob Ross type nature spot on with these. Bravo! 🙂👍

You tickle my heart with that comparison, my North Star for this series is BE MODULAR BOB ROSS so if that comes across I guess I can do a celebration dance 🩰

Your patch videos are great! I think I'm going to do a little AM synthesis tonight because of this video. A technique I always forget exists. Love that you brought noise in as a modulation source. Thanks for these great advanced patching videos! Also really enjoyed the history of the krell.

I tend to forget about AM too. Having the extra VCAs with offsets is a good reminder!

Wow, this is so interesting. Love the little history lesson at the start. I’ve lately been drawn towards “self generating” patches.

Thanks so much for this!! I know I'm late to the party but this is still super useful info (and will be for years!) I did a similar patch using the Moog GM and a utility skiff that I have to extend it - sounds really, really nice! Just curious - what have you got running on the O_C? (If you still remember...)

Really cool interesting stuff. Also great to see someone doing demos without a wall o' synth. Not that there's anything wrong with a wall o' synth, but this is a bit closer to my reality!
@KindStranger3 жыл бұрын
I wanted to keep the system small for this and stick to the basic tools. Wall of synth mentality can be a trap!

how are you cv-ing the Scale mask rotation -am I missing something?
@KindStranger3 жыл бұрын
Set a channel's CV input to a jack other than its own # (here I'm using CV2 as ch1's CV input) and the channel's own jack becomes available and mappable to a few aux functions!
