2011 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi. Truck has full boltons, Moe's Performance XTP Cam, Modern Muscle Ported Heads, Nitrous Outlet 85MM Plate Kit, 4.10 Gears, Edge 3400 Stall Converter, and Hemifever Custom Tune. This run was on a 100 shot.

launched ! my cuda went 1.59 best. I would have to say that the 20"Wheels on my 2014 RAM weigh a ton ( Lift one up! ))and just going to a nice lightweight rim would make a big difference

Which stall converter would you recommend running on a full-size Ram with a 4x4 drivetrain? This Ram is already Magnuson supercharged and equipped with 4.56 gears. Future mods consist of UD pulley, big chamber ported heads, cam and AR long tubes (1⅞" primaries). Looking to see what my best bet would be, keeping driveability in mind. I don't tow, and the only thing that goes in the bed are sheets of plywood, hammers, nails, and my kayaks on the weekends. It'd be driven daily, with the intent of taking a handful of sports cars by surprise if the occasion should arise 😎 Thanks in advance!

What would you guys consider a VERY SAFE shot on these trucks? More specifically the 8 speed in the 2014+ trucks. It's addicting I know, and once you hit it, you don't wanna stop. Hahaha

How did you get 15 inch wheels on the truck? So I been told 17 inch is the smallest wheels I can put on my 04 Ram. Due to the rotors being almost 14 inch plus the calipers, there would be no room?

Stock transmission with an Edge tq converter and upgraded valvebody. You just cannot do wide open throttle downshifts out of overdrive on the 5/6sp trucks.

+Landon Poindexter We are running 15x10 Centerline wheels with 6.5" backspace out back, and Racesetar 17x4.5" wheels up front with 1.25" thick 5x5.5 to 5x4.5 adapters.

+Landon Poindexter That's correct. Nobody makes a bolt on kit for this, so you will need to fab something up yourself. Smallest you can run with factory rear brakes is a 17" wheels. You can take a grinder to your stock rear calipers to make them clear some of the 16" wheels though.

Anything is possible. The quickest 5.7L 4dr I know of right now ran an 11.98. We do have a few 4dr trucks running 12.3-12.7 N/A though, so a 150 shot of nitrous on top of that would put them in the mid-high 11 second range.

Moes I bought the ati under drive pulley what's the best way to install it

Remove the stock crank pulley using a Chrysler Puller. Then boil the ATI hub for a few minutes...its a tight fit on the crank, so this helps it slide on easier. Use your stock crank bolt and an impact to drive the hub onto the crank. Once the hub is seated properly, I would remove the old crank bolt and replace it with a new one that you can get from your local dealership for about $5. Then just bolt the damper and ribbed pulley on the the hub, install your new shorter belt, and you are good to go.

That depends on the setup. A lightweight 5/6sp truck with a lot of gear and a big tq converter will need a wider tire or possibly a slick. An 8sp with a stock tq converter will do great with a smaller radial like the M&H 275/50/17.

Any nitrous, or just a N/A build? If N/A, then the M&H 275/50/17 is plenty of tire. If you plan to use nitrous, then I would consider the Hoosier 28x10x17 slick.

+Luis Garcia I'm not sure. Dyno's are too inconsistent, so we prefer to do all of our testing at the dragstrip. If I had to guess, I would say about 430-440hp/tq to the wheels N/A and about 500hp/550tq to the wheels on the 100 shot.

+Luis Garcia I'm sorry, but you are not going to be anywhere even remotely close to those numbers. A stock hemi Ram makes about 290-300hp/tq to the wheels. Adding a custom tune will get you to around 320hp/tq to the wheels. Add every other bolt on available, and you are looking at about 380hp/tq to the wheels. Then add ported heads and a bigger cam, and you will be right where our truck is at in the 430-440hp/tq range at the wheels. And the Belltech is a good kit for the money. Bang for buck it is my preference, but there is always room for improvement. Adding front/rear swaybars, adjustable control arms and adjustable panhard bar, and you can always upgrade the shocks with some that are adjustable if you really want to fine tune it. For the money, I feel it is the best kit you can buy for these trucks.
