I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500... I did a 2.5” leveling kit, I run 35/12.50/R20 tires on 20x10 moto metals with an -18 offset, Magnaflow Exhaust, Diablo Tuned, and smokey LED headlight and taillights... and all under $4000

2018 BBCP 1. Debadged (took big RAM letters off tailgate. Holes filled and repainted). 2. Non rivet body painted fender flares 3. Bilstein 5100s level 4. Rockstar II 20X9 (all black) wrapped in 295 Nitto Ridge Grapplers 5. Extang trifold tonneau. 6. Tinted everything (even marker lights on mirrors and 3rd brake light) except windshield. 7. Carven Competitor series muffler with 5 inch Carven black exhaust tips. (Almost sounds as nasty as my HC). 8. DZ Tailgate Assist piston. 9. Rhino Liner 10. Front end wrapped in Expel clear. 11. S&B CAI waiting to go in. 12. Upgraded all speakers to Kicker replacements. Plus 10" powered sub under drver side rear seat. Won't blow the windows out but miles better than the 6 speaker stock set up. 13. Unlucky 13 may be a SC and tune when warranty runs out. Lol.

First thing you should do is the exhaust then do fox/halo boss coilovers to level it, they also come with packages. Forget spacers they suck then do rear shocks. Then go up to 33s or 34s i personally do 34s then might as well add wheels with the tires

spacers arent the cause of busted uca, it's the lift height. up to 2" is fine , 2.5 or more is too much. bilsteins maxed at 2.25" is about the max you can go safely

Bolstering doesn't have a leveling kit for 2wd. Need to do a readylift spacer. I did it on mine. No busted UCA. 1.5 front 1 inch rear with new fox shocks all the way around. The rear shocks aren't necessary though.

I own a 2009 1500 ram . I personnaly love the rack front to back because I tow a 8000lbs travel trailer and i haul gravel, wood , etc in the back. When I'm fully loaded the truck sits level. Perfect. I personally know a friend who has the same truck and used a level kit. however the back end squats when he hauls things. I prefer function over looks. My 2 cents worth. Take care

Shut it off as soon as I seen the leveling kit without upper control arms. That's a great way to put excess stress on your ball joints and tuck a wheel and tire under your truck.

Man I kinda want to add 35s on mine. But don’t know how much I need lift the truck since it had a drop level when I bought it. Along with the lift to achieve 35s , I love some deployable running boards since I like the look without steps but they definitely come in handy. @@911Fuser Started in 06 for 1/2 ton rams. Its a cylinder deactivation that is supposed to save fuel. It doesn't, and it eats the lifters and cam away over time due to the nature of it. Chevy has the same thing just call AFM active fuel management. There is no engine in existence that runs this tech reliably.

I had to stop about a minute and a half into the video to express at least my feelings on the way the truck sits. I actually like the way it sits stock with the rake and front slightly lower than the front. It sort of gives it that old school "hot rod" look when you had bigger tires in the back and smaller up front. It also will sit level when loaded correctly or towing. However, I want to upgrade my 2015 Ram to 22 x 12 inch wheels with 35" tires and I'm hearing that by installing a leveling kit(2" front), you will not only keep the factory ride and suspension without altering the geometry but running larger wheels and tires is possible without modification to the wheel well, frame or anything else.

I find the best exhaust for v8s are finding garage shops that restore old trucks and muscle cars 1960 1970 and use those mufflere they put on those vehicles. Cheaper and they sound better. I was able to get them to install it on my Chrysler 300c and dodge 1500 05 for 400$ each from car converter to rear bumper.

The side steps should’ve been designed better to curl up to fill in the dead space of the rocker area instead of just running straight out like they do . That would regain any lift lost from the install of these. The rims are anemic as well. There is way too much open space above the tires . I’d want to fill it in by using a larger Rim and wider walled tire and /or some fender protectors flared in to help fill the space. My Ram has the step side factory and it pops in and out automatically when I approach. But overall this Ram looks good but don’t they all ?

yes , 2 screw knobs at the front, loosen and lif off all folded up. the small rails stay fastened to your truck. but for reference , it folds up to a vertical position at front, with built in prop rods. i can still haul my 700 kodiak 4 wheeler with my cover folded up, your bike would be easier

I have a 2013 ram 1500 express Would that level kit work for my truck Everything as far as I know is stock but compared to other stock trucks on the road I definitely sit lower to the ground I think that’s the main diff between the express and tradesman right? the lower to the ground more muscle look? there's really no point replacing so much of the exhaust on a stock, newer ram 5.7, just throw a flowmaster super-10 muffler on the stock pipes for loud, great muscle car sound. the stock cat-back pipes are high quality and plenty wide, so replacing an entire cat-back is an expensive swap for almost no hp gains over a highflow muffler. i don't think people realize if they go too wide on the pipes on a fairly stock engine they will lose a bunch of low-end torque/hp, and they'll never drive the truck at the higher-end rpms where the wider pipes "may" have a slight benifit. too little back-pressure will result in a flat low-end feel.

Exactly, there is a lot more to it! I want to do lifters, cam and full catless exhaust but that would require a lot of money and a proper tune plus upgrading the cooling system as well. I have a 8 inch lift 35s , KN intake and a cat back atm.. 10 Big Horn TRx 4x4

I guess you don't live in snow country. First thing your going to do is knock your ass silly when you use those running boards, that's if you can get the door open with the ice and snow build up. Tube type is the only way to go.

For a Pennsylvania truck that is used year round, small amounts of surface rust like this is really no issue. The only way you can keep a 100% clean under-body in the Northeast or Midwest is to undercoat your truck yearly and rarely drive it. -Zach

Leveling is more for off road.....if you raise your front end...and then want to tow something..your headlights will be shinning really high...and the front leveling will put extra stress on your upper a arm and ball joint.....

Really depends on what you're trying to do! If all you're looking for is a more aggressive stance and maybe a size bigger tire, a 2 in. front leveling kit will be just fine. If you're looking at running 33s or something a little larger, you will want to lift the front and rear like a kit you mentioned there. Hope this helps! -Zach
