Been looking forward to more of your Snowdonia adventures, really good day you had there it looks like! I also think it's good that you keep in when you happen to go off piste as it were, I think a lot of people try to cover these very easily made mistakes up and pretend like they are orienteering savants 😂 when in actuality we all take these little wrong turns or go off course by accident and oftentimes it makes a walk far more interesting for it! Hope you're keeping well and look forward to the next vid.

Hi Luke, I don't think I'd feel at ease within myself if I didn't include an in honest account of my experiences. I only wish I'd caught the final leg dunking on camera, it was pure comedy! Now that I've uploaded this one, I'll hopefully find the momentum to upload the other two walks from this trip. You've probably also seen that I've been wild camping recently and I hope to repeat that again soon. Hope you've had a good weekend. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hope you have a good Bank Holiday too.

Olly, definitely a brilliant day to be in the mountains☀️ Really cool to take it all in through the senses and appreciate the little things. Loved that waterfall💦 Really sharp air and fantastic views. A great walk, even with the bogs👍😊

It was a bit boggy in places... at least you had gaiters on! I like the look of this hike, loving the landscape and features along the way.

Hi Rachel, Haha, it was very boggy in places! But i still hadn't expected to find so many dry areas generally. Wild fires were a theme of the week. This was a great walk to do, almost a rite of passage for anyone visiting Snowdonia these days. I hope you're having a good long weekend. Thanks for watching and commenting. All the best.

Very nice Olly, there is much more to Snowdonia than Snowdon; such a beautiful hike. I've found that compared to places like the Lake District, parts of Snowdonia don't have defined paths and it's easy to stray little (a lot in some cases :) all adds to the adventure. I do like your outlook.....the journey is the destination! You were very lucky with the weather too. Best wishes, Gilly 👍

Hi Gilly, Thanks for watching and for your comment. I'm hoping to finally get to the Lake District in September and I'll see it all for myself then. I do imagine it to be busier, less wild and even more accessible than Snowdonia. Hope you've had a good weekend and have a good Bank Holiday ahead.

I missed these uploads Olly - my heads been elsewhere. But good to be hear. I agree the best of the walk is in the present moment enjoying them little things. This had it all - birds, forest, waterfalls and a mountain ascent. Oh yeah not to mention the great views and weathers. Rare weather for them hills eh? Well, it's still wet although it looked dry. A bit of a bog bash later. Well, I'll be catching up. I hope you're well. Mark

Hey Mark, Sorry that you missed them the first time around. I did notice your absence. Glad you're now able to catch up and can appreciate them. I enjoyed this day so much and even with the wet legs! I'm keeping about as well as I can right now, thanks. I hope you are also and have a good weekend.

@@WalksWithOlly I've been busy with things Olly and on a big arc on youtube. Glad I'm back round. Good to hear you enjoyed it and that you're doing OK. Mate, I know how much of a struggle it can be. Peace.

Nice one Olly, interesting route. I had Moel Siabod on my radar earlier this month alas found the 3000ers too time consuming and never got around to it. I was going to tackle the south east ridge as there's a nice grade 1 scramble from that approach.

Hi Robin, I've enjoyed the videos you've made of your own trip recently. Great to see you down in North Wales. That might've been the very same route that I took... Daear Ddu? I hope you get to explore it another time. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hope you have a good week.

@@WalksWithOlly that's true. 😂 I was looking at the map for your approach and didn't think you'd hit that ridge. 🤔
