Director Manirathnam sir chosen Prakashraj sir as Writer character who changing into Politician and Mohanlal sir as "Actor to the Great Politician". Both of them gave 100% to this movie. This was the debut movie for Aishwarya Rai. Acting as an ACTOR is more challenging than leading other roles. This role had greater responsibility because he has to show a lot of Energy, Lot of artistic tasks, body language variation for timeline, dialogues, style, change of age and confident level due to the historical moments, emotions and so on. There are lot of little secrets showered through this film, no doubt that this movie was edited many times after sensor board and political issues. This is why we love Manirathnam sir as well. I watched many other Mohanlal sir movies after watching IRUVAR. No Doubt that he has billions of Fans. Director Manirathnam sir is true, He denoted in an Interview that Mohanlal sir said himself as a Goalkeeper, wherever you kick the ball I can fall and stop it. He is the Director's actor to date. and Mohanlal sir is one of the top-notch method actors in the world.
