A Quiet Place has actually impressed me when it comes to horror movies, because while most and many horror films rely on blood and gore and jump scares to affect their audience, A Quiet Place does it mainly by the situation. Sure there's jump scares, but that's because you're growing accustomed to the silence in the scene, and when you hear a loud noise, not only are you scared because of the noise, but so is the character because you know exactly what's about to happen.

@Ozen Oya Universal (I think that’s the main production company) has added Part 3 to their TBA movie roster. Unfortunately it’s not listed to be directed by Kransinski. It’s supposedly just based of the world he’s built and may or may not have to do with the original characters.

I love when movies use the formula of building a story in the first installment and then furthering the plot in the sequel whilst also digging deeper into the origins of the first movie. EX. Godfather 1 tells the story of how Michael Corleone came to power in his family under the reign of his father. Godfather 2 show us how Vito Corleone came to power whilst also showing us how well Michael is doing during his reign. It compares and contrasts the upbringings and reigns of both Dons.

Tankiness? They still have the same weaknesses and one of them literally gets killed by a girl swinging a pipe to the head, now you could argue that their heads are very sensitive and that would be true until you realize that whole militaries couldn't put up a fight. Also if they are still so sensitive then why are their hearing so nerfed? In the first movie they could locate anyone precisely at a great distance with great speed but now they are just absolute goofballs. Even the director knows the movie isn't horror anymore but a thriller plus whatever else but at this point this movie isn't a thriller either, how are you supposed to be afraid of these "monsters"? They literally take care of a monster easily under ten or even less seconds in the first ten to twenty minutes of the movie.
