He can be pretty good AND blunder his queen in that situation. This is like free personal coaching from a GM I love it. Also I noticed I haven't subscribed to your channel, even though KZbin has been showing me your videos for weeks. It doesn't feel like it makes much difference but actually asking viewers to subscribe makes a lot of difference apparently... as evident by me not even paying attention to whether I'm subscribed or not. @kazumasatou56004 жыл бұрын
At 7:11 I think bishop to f7 would have been a good move. If pawn doesn't capture Knight, then the rook can only move to g7 to avoid death, in this case queen takes the knight at f6 and threatens king If the pawn takes the Knight then bishop captures rook, pawn captures bishop, and then queen captures knight, a check and advantage once again

@BubblegumTrollKing4 жыл бұрын
The rook sacrifice is still very dangerous, though, as black takes rook with queen causing a trade for 1 queen to 1 rook and 1 knight. This lets black come back into a relatively even position as white just prior, sacrificed a bishop. This now has white's queen and rook against black's 2 rooks and a bishop. Albeit this is still technically a favorable position for white, but before the trade, white was up a full knight. I wouldn't think making two consecutive sacrifices would ever be favorable unless you see immediate checkmate.

THE GRANDMASTER WENT EASY ON MR. CHARLIE HERE. 36:04, IN THIS TIME INTERVAL THE GRANDMASTER TOLD CHARLIE THAT HE COULD DO A TWO-MOVE CHECKMATE. IF CHARLIE MOVE HIS QUEEN FROM h5 TO h6, THEN GM COULD HAVE MOVED HIS QUEEN FROM d5 TO d8 to take h4, this move would have resulted in charlie losing due to time-out. if queen black moved to take h4, then queen white would take back h4, then knight white would move from f3 to e5 to f7, and then rook black takes back f7, leaving the king vulnerable but charlie would still lose to time-out. this means that GM daniel went super easy on charlie and lost on purpose..................................

I don't play chess and the GM would have probably seen this move, but when Penguin said he was trying to think of something note worthy, he was only 2 moves away from check.
