Ferrari 348 - Analog At Its Finest

When new, journalists complained about the Ferrari 348 because it wasn't a Porsche. Now, it's the last Ferrari with manual steering, the first with A/C that works, and the cheapest (for now) way to experience a true exotic sports car.
It has the iconic door strakes. It has flying buttresses. It says Ferrari on it. It has pop-ups with projector lenses. It was only offered with a gated dogleg 5-speed. Mid-engined, dry sump lubrication, 7500 RPM redline, weighing just 3300 lbs loaded. You simply cannot get this combination in any other car under $60k USD.

Enjoyed that, another great video. I had the pleasure and privilege to drive a Ferrari F355 Spider some 20 years ago, the gated shifter mated to the after market tubi exhaust are etched in to my memory forever.

Stunning driving sequence. I really love the camera placement. Not often you see such driving sequences on KZbin or anywhere else. Especially amazing coming from an American. No offence, but most American car guys drive really slow in their videos.

Thank you! The priority for the driving shots is experiencing the sounds and ride quality of the car without music or talking. And interesting comment about the slow American drivers haha. I know with cars like this it's usually because the driver doesn't own the car and has never driven something like it so they don't know what they are doing and/or don't want to mess it up.

Wonderful video! Class and taste. Too bad about the speed limits... I've taken my '91 tb to 260kmh on the autostrada, it would do more but it gets really twitchy above 200kmh. That said, it's most enjoyable on the "misto", i.e. twisting highways. Enjoy!

I testdrove a 348GTS in 95 in Greensboro NC and it ran "well" definitely music to your ears,the first thing I noticed was that My Head was about 1/2"from the roof lol,and the pedals were extremely close,the seats were hard,oh well "sacrifice for performance"the Testarossa is the one I considered 50 Grand down,$1,500 a month for 15 years,10 grand rebate incentive decided against it,it was a great experience

I did it guys .. i did it you can get a car like this for about 50k i put 19 k down my life savings almost....and my credit union financed the rest they didnt want to do it because of the year an the risk....but my dad talk to the guy and he pushed the loan thru... im so happy man i always wanted to get one im 27 still living at home......god i cant belive it still i love this car.....but a winter car is a must!!!! man im sooo proud of myself dudes thak u god!. i slept in it the day i got it lol my girl said omg your a weirdo come to bed.. i said nope see ya in the morning.

Good for you! I’ve had a 92 TB for almost 20 years now. I never sell it cause it’s still a rush to take it out. The trick is trying not to drive it too often so the specialness stays. It’s like if you were banging Megan Fox every couple weeks instead of every day the thrill wouldn’t leave. Well, theoretically.
