Also, why is she wearing so much fabric? Nymphs dont wear anything. They are spirits of nature, they are naked. Are artists too afraid to draw naked people nowadays? Is the naked body something bad?

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. For me, beauty can be found in many small moments in life, like feeling the warmth of the sun, listening to the sound of flowing water, or learning something new. I’m grateful to be able to capture these moments through my art. When it comes to nymphs, they are mythological beings, and I’ve painted my own interpretation of them based on my imagination. Since they aren’t real, I believe there’s room to depict them in different ways. As for whether they are clothed or not, I think it’s a matter of personal artistic choice. There are already many depictions of female nudes in art, in museums, in our games, and in everyday life, as I showed the examples of nymphs in classical paintings in my video. It makes me reflect on how we perceive the representation of the female body and whether our current visual habits are influenced by traditional male perspectives. I enjoy exploring different ways to represent beauty and femininity. In this piece, I wanted to convey a sense of peace and serenity through the nymph, rather than focusing on her physical form. I really appreciate your input and hope this helps you understand my perspective a bit more.

After watching this beautiful painting process, it's surprising that your main concern is why the character isn't naked😅. Not all art needs to focus on nudity-there's so much more to appreciate here…

@@Veron-0903 Its even more surprising hpw ur focusing on the nudity part of my comment without even taking the context into account. And I never said all art has to have nudity. But this is a painting of a nymph. Yet she looks like a regular blond girl in a dress picking water from a pond. If I didnt know this is supposed to be a nymph, I would never guess its supposed to be one. Nothing in this picture says "water nymph". If you dont like my take on this, how about move on and ignore it?

@@MokStudio-Art Nymphs are basically a metaphor for sexual desire. Just like Satyrs and Pans are. They are a symbol for the beauty and allure of the female physique. I dont hear you or anyone complain about the sexual and seductive way men have been depicted in classical art. Is always just about women. Weird. As a woman I highly disagree with your take. Sounds like modern feminism bs to me. I like seeing beautiful, attractive women in media just as I like seeing attractive men. And the less clothes they wear, the better. Attractiveness is not a crime.

@@Oozaru85 I guess everyone has their own vision of how mythical beings like nymphs SHOULD be depicted... Art is subjective, and the artist's interpretation might not always align with traditional representations-they may even choose to challenge those conventions on purpose. I think it’s important to appreciate the creative freedom artists have in portraying these characters in their own way. If this particular artwork doesn’t resonate with you, it’s also perfectly fine for you to move on and explore other pieces that do.........

Hi there! 😊 Sorry for the late reply-I must have missed your message in the chaos! At 5:21, I used a clean brush and dipped it in a little water to blend the paint. This helps achieve the soft, hazy effect I was going for. Thank you for your interest! 🎨❤️✨
