Yabu has to play both sides just to remain relevant and stay alive. What plays so well in the show is who's pulling the strings with all characters.

I rate your reaction 10/10 Yabushige Wills ... lol This show just keeps getting better each episode.. I loved your reaction ! Please keep going.. its an incredible , fantastic cast of characters woven into a great show. I highly recommend the book after you see the show , they had to condense the show but it stayed true mostly to the book . I am a Fuji and Yabushige fan myself.

Favorite character is Usami Fuji. Jewish people would call her a woman of valor.

You are going to need to read the novel this is based on and maybe research the history of Japan because that's what this is about. There was a good TV mini-series adaptation of the book in the 1980s. If the ratings for the whole series are any indication, we might get more adaptations based on the other books in James Clavell's "Asia Series".

Since you're caught up... At this point its SO HARD to pick a favorite character! I feel like every actor has been giving 1000%, and they've all got a solid arc to them, and I wish there were more than 2 episodes left.. But yeah totally Yabushige. Although, if anything happens to Fuji or Kiri No Kata before the end of this we riot.
