I think she is still very lucky that ahe can spend so much time with her kid. There is so many mums who have to do all of that what she does plus work and earn equal amount of money as husband. In my opinion women do more than men. However here she does not have to work so it is always little bit less stress for her.

They way she raises her child is amazing. She is so patient and whenever the child disobeys she’s patient and try’s to distract her and she teaches her in such a manner. That last reflection about not letting her doing things out of “adults convenience” really got me thinking. The way you look after her with so much patience and really taking into consideration her feelings even though she’s so small it’s eye opening to me, as a mother to be. I’m definitely learning so much, not only about life in Japan and “oishiii” cooking, there’s a lot of motherhood tips and I’m so greatful for all! @@pazhallusta1897 No, letting kids cry is never the right way. That's a myth from the Nazi time, when the aim was to raise the perfect soldier. Ithas long been debunked, but sadly it was so ingrained in peoples mind, that many today still think it to be true. That doesn't mean you have to always give them whatever they want, but you always have to offer emotional support.

You know, I cried at the end. I was watching the recent shorts and thought: what a wonderful well-behaved, smart and artistic little girl! And then I saw one of the comments saying how Sutan has grown from a fussy 2yo into this beautiful child. I got curious so I'm here now. And i am crying. Like yeah, we all know that raising children is not easy, but I wasn't expecting it to look that hard and exhausting. The amount of patience that Moe has. And the fact that it is the normal way to deal with parenting and you must be that patient with your child... That is how it's supposed to be for every child. But the amount of efforts a mother has to put in just so it would be possible... Honestly I can't imagine myself doing it that well. And I thought I wanted to become a mother in the future... I still want to and it's so scary

We all go through the same things with our children. I stayed home with my three kids and remember all of this. Your daughter is at a rough age but hang in there, it will get better 🥰 My son unfortunately passed away very unexpectedly in 2016. Life is never what we expect, we have to roll with it and appreciate what truly matters. You would be surprised that kids tend to remember the good things, while we worry about our mistakes. It is true that having a child is extremely taxing, tiring and frustrating. You lose time with your friends, hobbies and even just yourself. You also lose the freedom to do what you want and go where you want. But at the same time that is what forms the bond between parent and child. Every little step, seeing your world their first steps and interact with the world around them with innocence and curiousity; it melts your heart and brings you closer together and makes you a better person.

Hey Moe! I'm a mum of an (almost) two year old also and I know how you feel with them getting to the terrible-twos. One little trick I have learn't recently is instead of telling them to do something, give them two options to choose between. So instead of saying "Please lie down so I can change your nappy", you could say "would you like to lie on the floor or on the sofa to change your nappy?". Then they feel like it was their decision :) It works nearly every time for me! :)

NO 😅 So it is really difficult and although I agree with you that this is a great approach, it definitely does not always have to work :) (My daughter is 22 months btw)

Don’t be though because you don’t really know, these are snippets. I don’t see as many bruises on Sutan in the newer videos but she had a several in videos from a few months ago, it could have been a fall but it would have had to be a big fall because her shoulder showed several shades of purple.
