You know what? Yea, i personally think the first dress was ridiculous. But fuck it, that's what the bride wanted to wear and you can't say it didn't take effort. It's a good laugh and she looked pretty in it. WHYYY do mothers (or parents in general but mostly mothers) think they have any say in their child's wedding day and feel entitled to drag it through the mud if it's not their image. You've HAD your time to shine, you already GOT married. The fact that your kid is LETTING you be a part of it should be enough, because they really don't have to. I can't emphasize enough on how the fact that parents are a part of the wedding is not a given, you are being ALLOWED to be there, and your kid has every right to change their mind about that, Karen.

@@Immortal_Inkwell just a guess but in this show a lot of these marriages are arranged when the the bride is between 14-18 and matches with typically an ALOT older groom, and the brides meet potential suitors at get together earlier than that throughout their childhood (sometimes with their own cousins). And things such as marrying a gorger, being gay, having a baby out of wedlock, etc can result in being disowned or even banishment from the community So basically that family would probably be okay with an arranged marriage to an older male cousin but not a gay gorger

Man I would be laughing too on that dress lol and she has the audacity to say she her mother made her a fool for putting cake on her face, like wtf? You a fool for that dress. Though I have to say the creativity of the dressmaker is always spot on!
