Three things: One, I dunno if you'd wanna be a seahorse Peter, the male seahorses have to carry the babies and give birth (not fun for any species), two, I'd rather have at least gotten a lollipop out of the deal, my parents just made me play with a relative who had chicken pox, and three, I had a friend in high school who had a class right before me who'd write "pervy elf molester" on the board every day before I'd get to class because of our crush (at the time) on Legolas from LOTR. Relating to the chicken pox, normally on a kindergarten, whenever a kid used to get chicken pox, the teachers and even the parents would put all the kids playing together so that all could get chicken pox. In fact there used to be a tradition where parents would throw parties once their kid caught chicken pox just so that the other kids of the neighborhood would get too. It seems weird but chicken pox in adults can cause sterility and impotency, whereas in kids it's harmless.

nicepeter!!! i love all that you do, but id like to talk about acting, theres this book series im reading by Stephen King called the Dark Tower, and there is a character in the books named Eddie Dean. There is no movie to these books so my imagination pretty much makes up what i think the characters look like, and i imagine everything that Eddie does as you. i think you should look into this just because i thought you would think it was interesting. :D

Dear Nice Peter, I have never had the chicken pox, and had they been selling lollipop's laced with chicken pox when I was little, it would have been nice to have gotten one, seeing now that I am adult the chicken pox could kill me if I was exposed to it. Also let me add, I am a nurse and have a high chance of encountering it. So treat yourself to a sweet treat and inoculate yourself.

But i wouldn't recommend that, and yeah you should tell them :P But giving chicken pox to children is actually pretty cleaver. For children its pretty much safe. Where as when your older it can even be lethal.

@jackie02x05 It was decided because how we define a male is not through its actions, but rather its chromosomes. Female seahorses put their eggs in the male's kangaroo type pouch. The male doesn't actually give birth to them. He mearly carries the eggs untill they hatch. Its like saying that because you held a chicken egg until it hatched that you gave birth to it.

I haven't heard of suckers with chicken pox but I know people used to throw what were called "Pox Parties" which is where parents would take there kid to another parents house whose kid had the chicken pox so their kids would catch it. Pretty messed up I know.

Chickens are evil... My neighbors rooster chased me to my house, after attacking my arm, and cutting my skin. Later learned that it is okay to kick the damn things, and partake in rooster abuse. We ate him a week after this incident, justic has been served. Oh, sorry for any PETA people that read this.

When I was little, my mum used to make me spend time with kids who had chicken pox so I could catch it. Apparently, after making me sleep over at my friend's house when he had chicken pox, I finally got it too. Yeup that's how I got chicken pox- my mum quarantined me in an infested household...

I had chicken pox as an adult and nearly died from it, fever got to 106, my 8 month old gave it to me and he only had a low fever for two days and like 15 pox. I had at least 20 on each hand some on my scalp, some on the roof of my mouth, bottom of my feet, palms... yea way worse when your older.

Parents used to have "chicken pox parties". If a kid in the neighborhood or someone at school got chicken pox parents would organize like an hour for the sick kid and their kids to all go over and get sick. The lollipop is just a step from that really >.

@jackie02x05 Male seahorses don't lay the eggs, they just keep them safe in a little pouch on their body, kinda like a kangaroo with it's newborn. Male penguins also do it, but they keep the egg on their feet.
