You can absolutely tell that the court (AG and judge) don't seem to understand the "white collar" labor market. Once a contract ends, the work is done. The business that employs you has no obligation to find you another position. Tech layoffs have been rampant in the news, so none of what the father is saying sounds unreasonable. Father's arrears and other issues aside, the court seems out of touch.

Completely agree. Do they know how many people in tech are still looking for jobs? It’s not like he will be making the same amount of money.

I'm with you both, but they don't care. It's all about Title I-V D. If you don't understand this, then I'm sorry to say you don't understand anything else about this matter. The judge referenced "Maximizing potential," in lesser words. That is not only unconstitutional but also immoral. 21:08 look at how she rolled her eyes. This is where the issue really starts, because her demeanor did not denounce his testimony until then. That says a lot, if not everything outside the bias courts.

Sounds like he needs to figure out another way. USAJObS and the state of Texas have about 1000 IT jobs available. It may not be remote and may have to go in office. This is what I find with a lot of IT people. I was in a HR forum and the main issue was they need in house but everyone wants to be remote.

If he’s paying all of that money for cs and she’s employed and make good money there’s no reason the child should not have health insurance!
