WOW! What an amazing place! Its like a museum. Just imagine what lay beneath all that stuff. I love antiques and everything ancient Egypt. How I would have loved to poke around in there before it ended up like that. What a shame that all of those old and fascinating pieces will just lay there to rot away. I was late but at least I caught you on the live. Great news about Andy, SO happy! What an amazingly full house! I love Ancient Egyptian stuff and I painted a ceramic bust of King Tut and Queen Nefertiti among other stuff! NO way, he also has a picture of a Cheetah, so do I in the same room. It has so much to do with mental illness, but I can't help feeling annoyed that all those beautiful, wonderful things bought at auction by these people were sent to their ruin. It's so selfish to hoard and destroy beautiful things. They should be spread around to be treasured by their new owners, not piled on top of each other to rot. There was a Goddess offering bowl under the Imbolc picture. Imbolc is a Sabbat. Also all the herbs and such in the one bowl along with the offering bowls and other little things makes me think they were very much into Paganism. Loved this explore! Hope you're feeling better Andy! Stay strong!

48:36 the “dabber” thing is called a Mahl stick - used to steady the artists hand , it’s padded end sits against the painting and you lean your wrist/ arm against it.

books are treasure to a bibliophile and worthy of preservation if you know what to look for rather than just letting them rot. Would love it if you could find out more about the place and its history - although you can often find clues from what as been left behind - and you are a good amateur detective.

I do hope once Andy feels well enough, he does a stream or something with you. He certainty doesnt have to go into detail, but would be nice to see his face and get an update on how he's doing. That 'dabber' is used by artists and sign makers. You rest it agaist whatever you're painting to stabilise your hand so whatever your painting doesn't go wonky. Btw i absolutely loved those Japanese geisha dolls, i have one of those that my father in law bought for my mother in law when he was in the army in Germany in the 1950s
