Good video and update on Charlie. I remember seeing him on American Hot Rod and I'm glad he used it as stepping stone and vehicle (no pun intended) to advance to bigger and better things. So glad to see he's flying higher than ever. His hard work and talent is evident and no one more deserving of the success. Congrats, Charlie, and keep up the amazing work!

I remember the episode of AHR where Charlie quit working for Boyd, and he'd laid out the reasons for leaving pretty plainly to everyone who worked there. He was tired of working 18 and 20 hour days just to push product out the door that he wasn't proud of. He deserved WAY better, and I'm happy for him that he got it.

I've never met Charlie , but I was inspired by him . I worked at a gas station and occasionally somebody would come in and want their car fixed but found out they couldn't afford it , so they would sell it cheap . I was able to sometime buy them and this became what I would try my hand at painting. I feel like I was getting good at it so I stuck with it and opened me a small shop and I did well , I also enjoyed washing and detailing cars and trucks and I'm doing good and having fun 😊.
