I think as a leader in dragon position he can't make decisions off of personal feelings. When you sign up to be a revolutionary you know your life at risk everyday, if dragon goes out to save Ginny when does it end with putting everyone else at risk. Dragon made a decision as a leader and sometimes they are hard but he has way more to lose than just one person even if it's the lover of Kuma.

So all of a sudden, its Dragon's fault. Kuma, who can teleport anywhere, who is also the closest person to her, he didn't teleport to Marijois. Ivankov who is her older brother, didn't go after her. But for some reason everyone is blaming Dragon. First off, Dragon is not Luffy. He's not reckless. He's more strategic. Second of all, the R.A was in its beginning stage. They literally said that they had no funds, meaning they dont have the manpower necessary to attack marijois. Fisher Tiger slave rescue was a year or two before Ginny got captured. You don't think the celestial dragons would beef up their security after Fisher Tiger attacked Marijois? Instead of being so emotional about this, think about it logically and you'll see Dragon did nothing wrong And also, before joining the RA, I'm sure everyone knows the risk but they join willingly. So don't blame Dragon. If you gonna blame Dragon, also blame Kuma because he can teleport anywhere. Also blame Ivankov. He's her older brother but still didn't do anything

I agree with you. People forget that Dragon isn't a pirate, which defines who he is. He makes plans. He has a goal. He didn't just set out to sea to enjoy his life. He has a goal he's hell-bent on achieving. If you notice, throughout the entire time, neither Ivankov nor Kuma nor even Ginny holds it against him when she calls. That should say something about his reasoning and their understanding of who he is, where he's coming from, and where he's going. It hurts. I'm not gonna lie. I love Luffy cuz he would show up there whether he's going to die or not but the reality is turning up on Marijoise to basically "steal" a Celestial Dragon's wife is different from releasing slaves. Maybe not by much but it would be. Slaves would definitely stay in places that weren't as secure as where the "wives" would stay. It could blow up into something bigger. Definitely, admirals would get involved, and maybe even God's Knights. These are things I don't think the RA, at that time, could contend with. And Dragon knows these. No one knows how much it hurts him. We can see it from how he reacted seeing the Kuma that had been violated by the World Government. He feels all the pain and sometimes he might really just want to go and set fire to the place, but what would happen to all the islands he's helping. All the islands he plans to help. He's fighting a battle not a war, and it's terrible but you can't save everyone.

Dragon got a vision. Nobody is greater than that vision. Not Kuma, not Ginny, not Ivankov, not Luffy, not Sabo and not even Dragon himself. He wants his revolution to be truly sustainable and that means the movement continues no matter what. Luffy's attack on Marineford was unprecedented. Garps attack on BBs island was not even close in scale and doesn't count as an example of someone taking on an impossible mission. I'm not even sure Aokiji is really a pirate. that probably wasn't as much a leap of faith in his own power as we might think imo. Nobody attacks the most formidable place on the planet and walk away. Attacking other pirates Yonko or not is not the same thing as Marineford Dragon isn't spinning the block for anyone and he wouldn't want anyone to do the same for him.

However in One Piece I'm almost certain there is some kind of "fate" that is pulling the strings of everyone's life. Kuma is a perfect example of Job. And I'm certain there are other parallels to God pulling the strings. I mean the Ark under the sea is one. Luffy will be the change Dragon wants to be he just doesn't realize the story is about his son and not him. You know?

Has it also not cross anyone’s mind that the reason akainu destroyed the ships leaving O’Hara was because he got a order from a gorosei member the same way Saturn ordered the vice admiral to destroy the ships, and the reason why no gorosei was at O’Hara was because it wasn’t necessary for one to arrive in a buster call and had a reliable marine to execute their plans. This will also change akainu to someone who’s just taking orders instead of being completely heartless, but it seems he tried attaining freedom by being fleet admiral but he’s still trapped.

I think it’s fair to point out that For whatever reason, Dragon is the most wanted man in the verse! More wanted than the Yonkou, I’m not necessarily saying he’s stronger or weaker or even on parr with a yonkou, but there must be a specific reason why he is the most wanted criminal on the planet, taking in to account that he’s Garps son, Used to be a marine, & Akainu seems to have a personal vendetta against him, Dragon might just know certain things & has certain plans that are only privy to him, or abilities for that matter, & perhaps the RA members know this.. Ivankov sat in jail & said he will happily stay until Dragon makes his move, after that point he’d escape to help. Kuma, a tyrant in his own right, trusted dragons decision! Some call Dragon a strategist but forget that Ginny and Kuma were Rev Commanders and not ordinary foot soldiers. I wonder how Ginny's and Kuma's units felt about this, given how popular they were. This is not about saving, Dragon's character development is very bad, he is very inexpressive and tends to be indifferent to the situation, he is like an unimportant character, when Ginny was caught the ones who looked worried were Iva and Kuma, and when Iva was caught Dragon just relaxed in response to this, There is very little dragon conversation and that is a mistake, the dragon character development is very poor. (again this is not about saving). even WB, Garp and Shanks are better at expressing themselves than Dragon

The problem is mostly with the fact that Dragon's hyped up to be top 5, (up there with people like Shanks, Garp, Kaido, Akainu, Mihawk, Luffy, etc.) streangth-wise, while also having the will to go directly against the celestial dragons & world government plus the intelligence to get away with it for 8+ years (at the time of Ginny's capture) as its leader. Kuma & Ivonkov are seen as weaker pre-TS level characters who, even though are strong & resourceful, aren't leaders to the extent that CoC users are. Kuma & Ivonkov aren't the people who started the revolutionary army, they aren't the strongest in the revolutionary army, & nor are they aren't the smartest in the revolutionary army... Dragon is (or at least he's supposed to be). We don't expect Kuma to go out on his own & rebel against the wishes of Dragon & storm Mary Geoise to save Ginny on his own, we expect Dragon to lead the charge. If Dragon was just some joe schmo then yeah it would be stupid to put most of the blame on him & to call him a coward... but he's not. As unfair as it may be Dragon is the ex-Marine "World's Worst Criminal" leader of the Revolutionary army with a past with Akainu. Dragon's the son of Garp the Hero the guy who fought with Prime Gol D Roger, Prime Whitebeard, & Prime Rocks D Xebec. Dragon is the father of Yonko Luffy, the next Joyboy warrior of liberation, the guy who beat the Yonko "World's Stongest Creature"Kaido, the guy to beat Admiral "Have you ever been kicked at the speed of light?" Kizaru/Borsalino, all in >3 years, the MC of One Piece. Dragon's the leader of the "Flame Emperor" Sabo who stormed Mary Geoise, saw Imu, fought Admiral Fujitora, & lived to tell the tale. These are things that he should be capable of if not more as these are the feats he's been compared to. So fending off the World Government for a bit to save one girl should be light work for a guy whose top 5 alive, head of the Revolutionary army with "millions of people" including Kuma who can teleport & "Smartest Man in the World" Vegapunk backing him. If Fisher Tiger, a man weaker than Pre-TS Luffy, by himself, could escape from Mary Geoise return & raid Mary Geoise freeing slaves & escape again, all with only 2 swords & a bazooka on his back, only to then thrive as a notorious pirate for YEARS (5+ to be exact) raiding Marine bases, & (ironically) 13-year-old Ginny made a plan that saved her Ivonkov & Kuma from the Gorosei, Rocks Pirates, & Gods Knights successfully, then 43-year-old Dragon should be able to do better. He's either a Fraud weakling with a revolutionary pipe dream & no will to get stronger or a coward loser who puts the "greater good" over his friends. & If One Piece has told me anything Nakama > everything. If Dragon with all that power & all those resources can't save 1 person what can he hope to accomplish trying to saving billions? (tl;dr - Dragon's hype has put the expectation on him to save Ginny & he dropped the ball. Plus Fisher Tiger b Better.)

Sabo alone went up against the Gorosei & Imu, leaving alive, The Gods Knights did nothing, CP0 did nothing, & the Admirals will always be nerfed fighting in Mary Geoise now & back then so they're much less of a threat. What source do you have that shows that Fisher Tiger didn't scale the Red Line barehanded? Boa & Jinbe, one who was there & the other who knew Fisher personally, both gave the same story & nothing has been shown or told to us that puts the event's validity into question. Also what propaganda? Fisher Tiger didn't even get a bounty after storming Mary Geoise, he only got a bounty after attacking slave ships, if anything the WG would've hid the fact that they let a singular person storm their HQ & get away like they did with Luffy's bounty, not raise it. Either way its headcannon, nothing's been show that would led us to believe that the WG had interfered with Fisher's bounty or story. What's with the idea that the only way the Revs could find Ginny is by going "door to door" as if they don't have a thorough information gathering group spanning multiple countries + the help of "Smartest Man in the World" Vegapunk who was in good terms with the WG & Dragon + (stretching it here) Garp who easily could've asked Sengoku or whoever to locate Ginny + ex-Marine DRAGON who's a supposed strategist with 2 years of time to form a plan. Obviously rescuing her would be hard & they'd have a low chance of success, but It definitely wouldn't have been Impossible as people (Fisher Tiger) have done it before (with much less resources & power) & succeeded. Old Rayleigh, with base CoC, is stated to be able to take out 100,000 fishmen in a single instant & take on Admiral Kizaru & Dragon's supposed to be able to be WAY stronger than him. Shanks used base CoC to paralyze Admiral Greenbul & Dragon's supposed to be as strong if not stronger than him. Fisher Tiger got gunned down by some unnamed Marine Soldiers & had a bounty lower than Enies Lobby Luffy. In reality the only threat to Dragon would be The Gods Knights (who did nothing both times Mary Geoise was raided) as it would be highly unlikely for the Gorosei or Imu to revel themselves during a simple raid to save 1 person & Old Sengoku + the 2 other unnamed Admirals would be nerfed to the ground being both past their prime & fighting in the Holyland .

Imma be real with the whole situation, what Dragon did was the smartest move. The most painful? Yes most definitely, but it was the smartest This is a WAR Dragon cannot risk an entire army or it's most important higher ups for a SINGLE PERSON, no matter how connected to you they may be or high in status as well. If they had tried to go to the FINAL BOSS this early in their career, they would have been slaughtered or lost MUCH of their forces for Ginny. It does suck and i do love these characters, but Dragon is acting as a leader should And you cant compare luffy to Dragon really, considering just about every time Luffy rushed in to save someone or solve a big problem he almost died. Dude was saved by luck more times than we realize. I.e his fight against crocodile should have ended up in his death in the very first fight. Its only because of Robin having taken an interest in him because of his name that he was saved. Same with Impel Down especially. I had the same thoughts and feelings about Dragon when the chapter come out and the days that followed but now I accept the logical side more. If Dragon goes after Ginny he’ll have to go after every commander that gets captured. If you join the R.A I’m assuming they know the chances of getting captured by the Marines and government agents is high and you’re on your own after unfortunately. The R.A went up to officially declared war against the C.D after Years of being around. Saving Kuma only got added to the plans after Sabo saw him and it didn’t affect the main objective. Honestly because Kuma and Iva stayed with Dragon after she got captured and (from what that chapter shows) don’t have animosity towards him, it was a hard but understandable decision for them all. Together with Ginny, Ivankov and Inazuma are deemed expendable by Dragon and was left to languish at Impel Down as he nonchalantly told this to Kuma.
