Many of us remember playing Monkey Island in their childhood. Little did we know, that 30 plus years later listening to clips like this would make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and fill you with emotion. I played Monkey Island in 2020 for the first time ever so my nostalgia is not as deep as other people's. And yet, listening to the theme I feel like I've known this game for decades. Like I was 10 again, playing on my old 486. That's pure magic.

@@LucyBlanX Won't happen. Disney now own lucas arts and therefore the monkey island rights. And the whole supernatural voodoo pirate things is kind of what they already made pirates of the Caribbean about too so I can't see them making a monkey island film sadly. In fact pirates of the Caribbean (the theme park ride not the film obviously) was part the inspiration for monkey island in the first place and I suspect monkey island was part the inspiration for when they made the ride into a film so they kind of inspired each other
