In this exciting episode, I finish up this neat little kit using a three color camo scheme with no pre-shading.

Thank you for the tutorial on the installation of acrylic rods. When you have time, can you do a tutorial on how you actually do the U.S flags on your bases. Exceptional work

That looks good. Some years back I was involved with the painting of some UK Tornado aircraft and the camo was traced out on the aircraft and then free hand sprayed to the lines, so there was no hard masked edge. Maybe most aircraft are done that way which is why I find hard edging on models looks a bit wrong. Also on those 3 colour camos on AFV's some people blend them in with a lighter very transparent blending coat. A later heavier coat makes the vehicle look dusty but that would be wrong on aircraft unless its a bone yard model. Looking fwd to your next project. Have you ever done a car model?

Dear Sean, next time you pick a multi color camo sheme, please share with us the painting. You just picked the sheme because it was interesting, and then… we just got to see the result. It’s sometimes even more useful to see (even) you struggle with something but then work your way around and out of it. You may shorten it as much you want, but a little bit would have been nice.

Another beauty! You have such a good eye to pick up those subtle realisms and recreate them on your builds. When you top coat with future I’m guessing you thin it with water to spray it? About 50/50? I want to give it a try as a gloss coat as you mentioned.

Hi. My navy P-3 Orion has a paint line of white on top, gray on bottom. The 70's version calls for the hard paint line. There is a slight ridge but looks good. Would you leave the ridge? If not, how can I safely smooth without wrecking the crisp line? Thanks, respect your work.

Just purchased a Cricut Air 2, when you use Frisk Film or Tamiya mask sheet. What setting do you use on the Cricut? Thanks

I start with the medium paper setting then go up from there if it’s not cutting deep enough
